The way I see it, Congressman Johnson may not have a third grader's understanding of basic geology but he does know how to get thousands upon thousands of voters to continue sending him to a cushy, high-paying job with awesome bennies in Washington DC term after term.

Well, I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on the metrics of what constitutes intelligence. I don’t personally count the ability to hoodwink more stupid people into voting for you as intelligence. It may be hard work as I credited Ocasio Cortez with in my first post, but it is not intelligence.
In this country it seems we cannot agree on anything anymore. We used to be able to agree on what intelligence was, a basic universal standard. However, it seems we cannot even agree on that!! Congressman Johnson as well as Ocasio-Cortez by their statements have shown to be at best ignorant and most likely just plain stupid but it seems that we are not using the same ruler as a measurement.
It would be good to remember that the USA has always tended center-right. Reactionaries of either stripe end up doing poorly in the end.
