God willing, it might end up a party split, with the more conservative Democrats knocking on the GOP’s door, fleeing from the worst cuckoos in their party.
She’s just saying that now because she lost. During the race, she ignored white working-class voters until the polls showed she was losing.
Seriously? My hope is that more reasoned ppl in the Dem party begin to realize how insanely crazed their caucus has become, and begin to reel it back into, at the very least, a more rational political party.
I am NOT for the destruction of one of the two major political parties in the U.S. .. because what that would leave is only ONE party in control of half the U.S. with the other half slinking in the sewer of disarray.
And you can't trust any of 'em ... ANY of 'em !!!
It's a recipe for cultural, societal, and economic disaster.
A recipe for Anarchy. A recipe for Tyranny.
What I hope for is for the Dem party to either come to terms with radicalism within their ranks and eradicate it. Or for the Dem party to break up and form a new, more rational coalition more in keeping with what the US truly stands for.
Not holding out hope for the latter though, as decades of radicalism has almost fully ingrained itself into the Dem party, metastasized itself thru years of indoctrination within our educational system.

Agree. Human nature being what it is, with thousands of years of fighting, humanity does NOT need a one-party system of government. It truly needs a strong two or three party system in order to survive. Anything else will result in tyranny.
I wouldn't trust a one-party Republican political ruling class any more than I'd trust a Dem ruling class, or a Libertarian ruling class, or a Green ruling class, or a [fill in the blank] ruling class, etc etc ....
Politics and Politicians of all stripes and polka-dots need to be kept in line, and the only way to do that is to give them their own little mudbox to play in ...

That’s how we got Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Sometimes people have to be faced with a choice too unpleasant to embrace before heading the other way.
I see AOC and President Trump as different sides of the same coin. They were both elected by people who are sick and tired of the DC establishment and want to shake things up.
The right succeeded in electing President Trump despite all odds. The left tried with Bernie Sanders but were thwarted by a corrupt DNC. Ocasio definitely represents the frustrated Sanders wing of the party.
While philosophically opposed on most issues, they are united in a shared loathing of the Swamp.

I absolutely love Cortez. She defeated a Pelosi democrat and will vote exactly the same, no difference at all. However, she speaks the truth about her political philosophy which is 100 percent the same as Pelosi but Pelosi will not say the same things. Pelosi is a lying bitch but not stupid. Cortez is honest but very stupid.
Cortez has become the living proof of what the democrat party is. Pelosi just wants her to shut her mouth.
