Dicks Sporting Goods took a firm, anti-gun stance. Oh, itll still sell guns, but itll only sell approved guns, the kind that anti-gunners generally pretend are fine. At least until they get around to demanding those be banned too.
When Dicks made its announcement that it would not sell AR-15s at any of its stores going forward and that it would discriminate against legal adults looking to buy long guns, gun rights advocates called for a boycott. Awesome. And good for you!
Since we don’t have a City Arms around here, and SF is a little out of my way, I’m gonna have to rely on Cabela’s and Scheel’s for my peace-keeper purchases.
“Support your local militia.”
I might, if I knew who they were.

New motto:

You know your in a Dicks store when the employees outnumber the customers 10 to one.
*youre
I love it!
We showed our power when the gay mafia thugs called for a boycott of Chick-fil-A. We showed our power again when Dick’s turned against gun owners. I hope businesses will pay attention. Normal Americans care about morality, and we remember when companies act in a manner declaring themselves our friends . . . or our enemies.
Bully for you.
“Cabelas made it so damn difficult for me to buy a hunting rifle that they made my do not frequent list.”
I thought it was just me.
I stopped shopping a Cabella’s.
I shop at Gander Outdoors now.
I tried on some Columbia snow gear, found the right size, went home...and ordered it from Amazon.
FYI Columbia clothing doesnt have any American factories. Almost all China.
“FYI Columbia clothing doesnt have any American factories. Almost all China.”
I didn’t know that, but I’m not surprised.
