Special counsel Robert Mueller filed a formal complaint against the judge presiding over Paul Manafort’s tax fraud case this week; claiming T.S. Ellis III violated protocol while ruling against the prosecution’s star witness.

According to Politico, Mueller’s team is increasingly frustrated with the “cranky judge” who has rebuked the special counsel’s office on multiple occasions.

Last time I checked...pissing off the Judge is never a winning strategy.
Where did he get his Law Degree...off a Cheerio Boxtop?

I don’t know, I liked the first version better. The word picture it evokes is of some rather ungainly creatures attempting to slither back and forth across the courtroom floor.

Their waddle feelings may be more descriptive than you first realized.

All the cause for Mueller to be fired. He is taking the bait.

Be funny if Trump fired his ass for incompetence.

What pompous, pampered jerks. Does Mueller’s counsel think they are the first attorneys to appear before Judge Ellis? His temperament is well known and he has been there since the ‘80s. Working with a difficult judge is part of being a trial attorney, so suck it up and do your job.

Wish I could predict winning lottery numbers the way I knew this would happen. Libs/Dems/media will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal and will try to destroy anyone in their way. God help America.

Mueller needs to stop this nonsense, and the witch hunt. He had his way for far too long , and now because things are not going his way he now does this.

Have to admit, I, too, wondered about this. Sad that it’s very hard to trust anyone.

Mueller's team is used to having lib judges do all the heavy lifting for them; essentially Mueller has been accustomed to judges being part of the prosecution.

This case is being heard across the river in Virginia, and Mueller is off his home turf, and away from his stable of obsequious, sycophant judges.

The entire portion of the knowledgeable segment of the American public that has been following the Mueller investigation is of the opinion that your probe is biased and not predicated upon law or facts.

Because judges love when you file a complaint against them.

Interesting point. I doubt Mueller would have done this unless he thinks he has lost the case.
