1. Define the correct temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the correct humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the correct mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the correct amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the correct makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the correct amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
I'm sure they'll be getting back to me real soon.
Wow, it’s hot in the summer! We are all going to die. The next thing you know they will be reporting it’s cold in the winter. When that happens it’s all over for us. We are doomed, doomed I tell you.
Frustrating to have to clean up the corrals in the mornings, and then have to come in, and see the same stuff on the computer, and all before breakfast.
Here in NE Florida, this summer has been milder than usual.
Yes, Climate change is an on going phenomena. But since our Sun is million times bigger than planet earth, Sun cycles cause 99.99% of climate change.
To claim man is powerful enough to cause climate change is like saying a small pimple on a bull elephant’s rear end is responsible to the animal’s behavior.
I have a simple challenge to the AGW people- predict accurately and exactly parameters such as temperatures, increased hurricane and tornado activity, that prove AGW. That would be 1 month, 6 months, 1 year and 5 years in the future. And they are wrong they risk their reputations and credentials. Put up or shut up.
‘70’s - global cooling
‘90’s - global warming
today - climate change
fearmongers subsidized by taxpayer money
Record highs frequently pop up in many areas. What’s happening with averages and record lows? The furor sounds one-sided.
Good points.
How much of global warming is due to man, and how much is due to natural cycles we can’t control and don’t understand?
For example, we know there have been numerous ice ages in Earth’s history. Chicago was buried under a mile of ice during the last ice age. Wasn’t global warming beneficial, to melt all that ice?
They make it sound that if we shut down all economic and industrial activity, then magically global warming goes away, and our lives will be utopian.
I’m sure those smug, sneering Climate Scientologists will step right up with the answers.
That’s Funny right there, Pardner.
A lot of this goes back six months and was noted as a slow-down of the gulf stream (globally)....maybe the slowest pace over the past thousand years. I don’t know how any idiot could connect that to climate change or man-dominated effect.
Weather folks were talking about the gulf stream issue back in March already.
i have a better challenge which i’ve told them to their face numerous times- if the primary cause of climate change is mankind live up to your word and jump off a bridge so you are no longer part of the problem...
I for one am sick to death of this BS. We are supposed to ignore what we expierience every day and panic every time some place, any place that has above typical temperatures for a blip. F these lying propagandists.
That shouldn’t even be needed if it were real but unknown. But I think there is too much concentration on isolated records rather than on the overall picture.
Remember last winter we got some awesomely low freezes as well. Maybe all the unused heat is getting uncorked now.
There is no “global warming”. Attempting to pin something on a fraction of a degree “average global temperature” based on thermometers of wildly varying calibration over a number of centuries is quackery and not science.
Those all are good questions. But I would like to ask Global Warming crowd just one question:
Science is all about debate. Why don’t you allow any debate on this issue?
(I know...I wouldn’t get an answer. Instead I’d be shouted down. Someone might even try to hit me with a bike lock.)
But since our Sun is million times bigger than planet earth, Sun cycles cause 99.99% of climate change.
...
That’s what causes interglacials in our current ice age. The last interglacial was warmer than it is now. That was thousands of years before Al Gore bought his first SUV.
Lol. ..and take your family with you... you must save Mother Earth!!!
I’ll try That!
Perhaps it would cost me a
Trip to Human Resources but
I enjoy those Visits.
