That explanation makes sense. It’s an explanation that the media has not seen fit to even discuss, until now. If the pilot was a muzzy, then this is the explanation.

An Egypt Air pilot did this same thing a few years earlier.
Time to ban muslims from piloting commercial aircraft.

Any Muslim should be banned to fly commercial airliner

I’m thinking the same thing. Pointless. If they spotted him, what’s the worst that could happen? They’d fire a missile, blow him out of the sky and spoil all his plans for suicide? Makes no sense.
Stealth was not needed.

—one would have to assume then that he also disabled the co-pilot first-—

He wasn’t just committing suicide, he was engaging in jihad.
200+ infidels went down in that plane.

I agree with their finding.Me too. I thought from day one, that it was some sort of terrorist attack, but didnt know exactly what kind of terrorist attack, until a bit later.

"and eventually went over his own hometown, Penang"
I thought there was a report from someone on the ground reporting an aircraft buzzing that area?

With regard to US carriers I would support a freeze on the hiring of muslim flight crew in that they are an imminent danger to aircraft and passengers. Also baggage handlers and ground crew, which I suspect are currently all over the place.

It is surprising only that he didn’t fly the plane into a building.
A man in a fishing boat (?If I remember correctly) said he saw it fly overhead and he saw flames in all the windows.
I have speculated that he or the passengers tried to start a fire either to get control of the airplane or to overcome the passengers, but the smoke and flames overcame everyone and the plane just flew until it ran out of gas.

In some airports the majority of ground crew and baggage handlers are muslim. Minneapolis and Detroit.
