John McCain undergoes surgery for intestinal infection

(CNN) - Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, who has has been undergoing treatment for a brain cancer diagnosis in his home state since late last year, is hospitalized in stable condition after undergoing surgery for an intestinal infection, his office said Monday.
In a statement, his office said, "On Sunday, Senator McCain was admitted to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, and underwent surgery to treat an intestinal infection related to diverticulitis."

I wish the alleged Republican senator a recovery, and if recovery is not possible, then comfort.
That said, I do wonder if Mister McCain might know how many of the GOPers (and Americans interested in border security) that he has pottied upon believe what a weasel he is, and enthusiastically wait for a genuine GOPer replacement.
