Dog found 'frozen solid' on central Toledo porch

The Toledo Area Humane Society is investigating the death of a dog in central Toledo that was found outside and “frozen solid.”

The female dog had died after curling up on the front porch of a house in the 1000 block of King Street.

“I don’t know how long she was out there,” Megan Brown, a cruelty investigator with the humane society, said. “She was frozen solid.”

Why is there always an Hispanic involved. Damn their culture for indifference to the preciousness of life. And they bring it here with them. He only valued the dogs for breeding and moneymaking. He should burn in hell.

Stories like this always break my heart. Such a bad way to go. I’ve been so cold I thought I would die and it’s a terrible feeling. I hope karma comes back on this guy hard and fast.

Dying of hypothermia / freezing to death is allegedly a relatively peaceful, painless way to go.

As for being found "frozen solid:" That should actually facilitate handling / disposal; imagine finding it frozen only "half solid."

I live in this god forsaken city. We were voted the #1 worst winter city in 2014. It’s no better in 2017. It’s brutally cold and just plain miserable. I’m quite sure that more than just this one dog has frozen to death this week. I still see homeless people on the streets.

Dogs in the wild survive freezing temps. It sounds like this guy is haveing financial problems. Possible the dog died of natural causes and the it’s corpse froze!!!
