But still not a good way to go.

True - but not everyone can "go" like my father: Quietly, in his sleep - not like the 68 other people he was driving in the bus at the time.

Regards,

Dogs in the wild survive freezing temps. Possible the dog died of natural causes and the it’s corpse froze!!!

Exactly, any mid-large breed can handle near arctic conditions-- breeds with a double coat can survive true arctic conditions. My Chow wanted to sleep outside last night and it was eight degrees; I let her stay out a few hours, sound asleep right on the frozen ground-- not even curled up but spread out with her belly on the ground to stay cool... but eventually I let her in, not because she wanted to come in to be warm, because I wanted her to be on the bed to keep ME warm, lol. She hates staying inside when the wood stove is going.

During the Spring thaw at a northern metropolitan area that I was once stationed at you started seeing things like cats and dogs that had died outside during horrific blizzards and would be covered up repeatedly over the course of a winter.

Additionally... where my mother grew up there was always a large population of dogs during the summer months but after the winter very few dogs remained as they were used as a customary food source.

People are understandly upset about this poor dog, but what the heck is this “Humane Society” that has investigators who are allowed to go looking through windows and obtaining warrants? Some kind of city or state thing, or are these people just deputized busybodies?

Have you ever see this? I had no idea about this. Someone made up a book of Native American recipes and asked Warren to contribute one. Why? I have no idea.

And look what she put....

Not only did she lie about being Cherokee, she also plagurized the recipe from a French chef

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2146628/Elizabeth-Warrens-Pow-Wow-Chow-Cherokee-recipes-word-word-COPIES-famous-FRENCH-chefs-techniques.html

Isn't it amazing the crap the left gets away with?

It also sounds like this guy is pretty irresponsible (dog loose multiple times, (the guy) fails to show up for hearing, story has obvious “holes” in it, other dog not well fed...

There are some people who have no regard for living creatures

If it’s too cold for you with no coat it’s too cold for your animals

These American Bullies are not “small” dogs by weight, though they do have a short coat.

There could have been contributing factors - the owner did say the dog was sick, though I believe little from this guy (story doesn’t really add up.)

OTOH, we had (one at a time) collies (not “border collies”) when I was a kid, and in cold weather at night, they wanted to be in the doghouse or come in with us. This lead to a hilarious vid which I still hope to find someday, of us kids in the house — I was maybe 6? — sharing chunks of Purina Dog Chow with our collie — my recollection was that it really wasn’t too bad...

Yeah... I never did understand that... I don't think I could stand for a bunch of libturds running around my property acting like they're some kind of "law enforcement."

I think I would tell'um, yeah, I know the pooch is there... I'm going to cook him up as soon as he thaws out.....

Yup, no surprise latinos were involved. There is a latino family a couple streets over who treated their dogs very shabbily. I assume their neighbors reported them because I have not seen the dogs around anymore. Or, they ended up in the burritos.

To properly own a domestic pet means taking the responsibility for their care with no less concern than you would your own child (well, at least as you SHOULD have for your own child).

Burn in hell for allowing a dog to die? That’s a little steep. What about the rabbit he ran over on the way to work? I used to shoot a lot of song birds and mice with my BB gun. Shall I join him?

I WANT TO CRY.

I BET WHEN THEY TAW THE FEMALE ENOUGH TO EXAMINE HER, THEY’LL FIND OUT WHY SHE WAS CURLED UP.

I BET SHE WAS CURLED UP AROUND HER BABIES.

Why so coy? Why not just come out and say "...in Korea"?
