United States Senate hopeful Roy Moore today is making his first public appearance Saturday after allegations broke Thursday the former Alabama Supreme Court Cheif Justice inappropriately touched a then 14-year-old girl several decades ago.
Moore is at the Mid-Alabama Republican Club around 8:30 a.m. Saturday as about a dozen protesters gathered outside. He declined to answer reporters' questions as he entered the building.

May happen but I hope he stays and wins and then resigns if necessary. That way
a replacement can be named until an election can be scheduled. If he quits now the
dem will be the winner. I think that is the way it would play out at this late stage.
While not exculpatory or even admissible, passing a good old Polygraph test was always effective at getting the authorities to take another look at other suspects.
He should take three such - and passing them - DEMAND his persecutors do the same.
The left and its right arm, the mainstream press are despicable. Many times, just before an election day, the press runs a story that tars and defames a Republican candidate in a race that is key to Republicans winning or keeping a majority in a state legislature or governors race. Similarly, the Moore race is key to keeping the Senate.
True or not, if the left had these stories, the fact they hold them until just before the elections shows the left wants to grab or keep its political power, not in a spirit to uphold morality or good behavior.
They have no limits. I would not say so much they are a joke.

For her accusations are the juiciest. Which they gleefully relate and dwell on in a touchy feel-ly manner as if it came off of a police report yesterday. Not as a unsubstantiated recollection from 40 years ago. Because they know these are damaging accusations which will be almost impossible to disprove
