I was sad to learn that Senator Mike Lee now refuse to endorse Moore. He should know better “Innocent til proven guilty”.

Moore should step aside for the sake of the country.

You got it 180 degrees backwards.

Judge Moore should tell them to Go To Hell! and keep running for the good of the people of Alabama and the sake of the country.

You don't cave on false accusations. It just makes the Marxists/Democrats/Establishment pukes more emboldened to try the crap again.

I think when we look at this hit job exclusively through the lens of right and wrong we may miss the political reality.

The political reality is a likely loss. The ads will be severe between now and Dec 12th. Even if there is little regurgitation of the accusations, the fact that there are Senators who talk of refusing to seat him is devastating for any politician. As is the complete withdraw of all financial support.

While as dirty rotten as anything I’ve ever seen in politics, this hit was likely successful.

In his remarks Moore PRAISED MCCAIN AND ASKED FOR PRAYERS FOR HIM,

Christians are naturally media-proof.

Senator Mike Lee is afraid he will be next to be falsely accused, if he doesn’t drop Judge Moore! OR he has been warned because there is something in his past that they are holding over his head!

McConnell has to go, and we all need to pray he is out next election or nothing will ever get done! His wife is Democrat. Ryan is same way, his wife is Democrat!

In 1989 Senator John Tower was nominated for Secretary of Defense. The day the debate on Tower’s nomination began in the Senate, Bob Woodward’s article entitled, “Incidents at Defense Base Cited, Drunkenness, Harassment of Women Alleged” appeared on the front page of the Washington Post. Bob Woodward reported that informed sources claimed Tower had been drunk at Bergstrom Air Force Base. Tower was not confirmed and the next day it was revealed that Woodward’s source was discharged from the Air Force for psychiatric reasons. Another story used against him was that he danced naked on a grand piano with his mistress, a Russian ballerina. This was reported by Leslie Stahl on CBS even though the FBI had reported they had reason to believe it was not true. Sen. Ted Kennedy told students at Yale University that he was “troubled” by reports that John Tower drank excessively and made improper advances toward women.

Picked them up at Walmart - paying them $15.00 an hour. So what?

Has anyone suggested that the GOP want to lose the Senate?

“Has anyone suggested that the GOP want to lose the Senate?”

quite a few times, McConnel would rather be Minority leader than lose all his power within a conservative majority.

I’ve said that the GOPe/Deep State could care less about losing Senate.

It allows them to keep living the Deep State life, happily allowing Dems to run the show all while obstructing Trump’s agenda.

The statement “if true should quit” automatically turns quitting into an admission of guilt. People saying this have made an “innocent” withdrawal logically problematic.

I will respond to your post from last night now.

Yes, I posted a single article about the judge several weeks ago, before the primary.

Disclosure: I contributed to Mo Brooks.

It was definitely not complementary to Moore, but highlighted some derogatory comment he made about homos. I don’t even remember what it was. But most certainly my intent was to damage him politically. I was rooting for Brooks.

Your gripe was about the “false date” in the article. It was a false date, but the date I posted was the false date given by the website.

If you’re at all concerned about the truth you will look at my posting history and go back to that article...wherever it is, whenever it was, and see for yourself.

However, I don’t believe you are concerned about the truth.

I’d rather be nowhere than with them.

I have no need or use for them, and I do not wish for their company.

That's perfectly plausible as well. I'm not sure the GOP likes being in a position where they have to make decisions. I think they were comfortable using Obama's veto pen as an excuse for their inability to accomplish anything. After next year's election, they'll use their newfound minority status as an excuse.

Today's GOP Congress is the most cowardly gaggle of wussies to ever sully Capitol Hill, finding courage only in hobbling President Trump's MAGA agenda. I've never seen such a disgraceful collection of dickless eunuchs than today's GOP.
