So if everyone would start calling and texting LOCAL businesses that employ NFL spokesmen (Subshops, Car Dealers, etc) and complain, I think that revenue stream would dry up pretty quickly for these punks ...
I wonder how many fans were not standing but instead were, sitting, going to the bathroom, eating, playing on their cell phones, talking, laughing
Most of them as they don’t care never did.
Blaa blaa bla yadda yadda yadda. USAA Blaayada!
I just called Verizon to get info on what steps we’d have to take to drop them as our provider — have been with them since 2002.
The first announcement was the “hold times are longer than normal”, which makes me wonder if others are doing the same. And when the rep asked why we want to drop them I told her that we’re ending all business relationships with companies which sponsor the NFL. Clearly, it wasn’t the first time she’d heard that.
Now doing research for a different provider.
Cancel memberships ? Its called cancel policy(s)shop for another more expensive carrier etc.
Aint going to happen
which makes me wonder if others are doing the same
Dream on
By the way if you did speak to a rep about dropping them, the rep could care less and moved on to the next call that was automatically crammed into their headset.
Thanks.
I think that’s a great idea. I’m not a big sports fan but I always sort of stayed plugged in to who was winning, what was going on, etc. I liked seeing other people enjoying it, preparing, setting up their tailgaters, having fun.
Now I have such a negative feeling about football in particular and professional sports in general - because now they’re all about weirdo politics, either racial stuff or “transgenders” - that I just want to tune the whole thing out. Ping-pong would be more fun.
Stands empty in Arizona, Cowboys vs. Cardinals......LMAO!!!
Small businesses that use NFL spokesmen are vulnerable. They are much more responsive to customer sentiment than the big globalist corporations.
Nike is dead to me.
The list will surely grow. I have a lot of disposable income and better ways to spend it. (St. Jude's for example)
Cancel your sports packages with cable companies
Whatever happened to that skank on the left? Last I heard she was “boxing” and had a porn site.
USAA is on that list.
Wonder if they would have advertised on the Tokyo Rose” radio show back in WWII.
Start posting sponsor names and city here and elsewhere on social media
Printed off a few copies and will tape them to the dash of my car and truck.....
A good thought.
United away is as bad as the American Red Cross. 8 or 9 cents on the dollar.
