A more interesting point of this story is that it DIDN’T involve any Florida LEO’s.
That looks horrible. Very unprofessional. He stalked and pursued the nurse because she wasn’t saying what he wanted to hear. He disrupted the calm in an emergency room with his power struggles. That’s upsetting to the other doctors working on their own patients.
I would hate for my co-worker to be treated that way when she was only doing her job. To quote her directly; “This is crazy! Why is he so angry?”
This officer should be given desk duty and never sent in this situation again. He has lots of unresolved issues.
Maybe he doesn’t like being told ‘NO’ by a woman.

Nurse needs to be fired and lose her credentials as soon as possible.

I sat on a Federal jury for civil rights violations by out of control cops. What a mess. It went all the way through the department, city manager, city attorney and mayor. The cops didn’t know the feds had stung them on video and had them fill out affidavits and mail them back to the grand jurors. 5 years a pop on each count of mail fraud adds up. The 24 year old cop in my trial was looking at half a century behind bars for believing he was above the law.
That cop and any and all that covered for them or watched should be fired, jailed if possible.
Fire the cop.
The Police Dept. needs to fire the cop’s ass and let him sue them if he has a problem with it.
But cops are supposed to know the laws right?
The ones they hire these days are more qualified to flip burgers or drive fork lifts than actually talk to people and act responsibly.

In Texas, free flowing blood can be wiped off the patient and then used for a BAC assessment. . .and if the blood drips onto hospital beds/chairs/furniture or the floor, the blood may be taken for BAC assessment.
It’s time to eliminate sovereign immunity and start criminally prosecuting LEOs who break the law “in the line of duty”.
If convicted, imprison them.
