Linda Wenzel, 16, who disappeared from Pulsnitz near Dresden in Germany on July 1 last year, was detained in Iraq, along with other female supporters of the group, after the Battle of Mosul, which saw ISIS fighters forced out of the ancient city.
The new video shows a distraught Wenzel with her arms secured by armed men being escorted through the streets amid a crowd of cheering Iraqis.
Lorenz Haase, senior public prosecutor in Dresden, confirmed the teenager had been “located and identified in Iraq”.
Wenzel, who is thought to have converted to Islam after being groomed on social media, was arrested by Iraqi forces along with 20 female ISIS supporters from Russia, Turkey, Canada, Libya and Syria.
The group are believed to have barricaded themselves with guns and explosives in a tunnel underneath the ruins of Mosul’s old city.
German media interviewed Wenzel, who told them she regretted joining the group and wanted to leave.
“I just want to get away from here,” she said. “I want to get away from the war, from the many weapons, from the noise. I just want to go home to my family.”
They added that she wanted to be extradited to Germany and would cooperate with authorities.
Despite having a gunshot wound on her left thigh and another injury on her right knee, which she said was caused during a helicopter attack, she said she was “doing well”.

Some might say there is a lack of compassion in the posts here.
But it should than be equitable to ask where was her compassion for all the innocent people killed by those she supported.
Some will try to say she was brainwashed and that she is young, I find this a weak and invalid excuse. Look at Chicago or other places in the United States.
There is no excuse, she and others like her should be treated as enemy combatants and in my opinion subject to capital punishment. After all is she not in the land of “an eye for an eye”.
Liberty is about choice, and with choice come consequences. For many who lack understanding; consequences often follow one to the grave and in many cases accelerate the process.
Hang or shoot her. Problem solved.
Iraqi residents of Mosul during the occupation should give her a trial. No one else.
One can't help but wonder if the ISIS fighters whom these women enabled left Mosul, leaving them stranded, for that walk to the EU as "refugees".

The parents should be jailed.
For the life of me, I don’t understand why these people joined ISIS. Unless you’re living under a rock, there so much out there about the atrocities that ISIS has committed and that they’re pure evil, knowing this, why would people be attracted to it? The only things that I can think of is they were deceived by the master of deceit, Satan, who I believe is the spiritual force behind ISIS, or that they are evil themselves.
