Under the Trump administration, Scott Pruitt is not the first elected official to be appointed to head the very department hes made a career of criticizing. His decisions as head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), however, could have disastrous and irreversible effects on our communities, country and the planet.
But our biggest concern with the EPA is not Scott Pruitt, Donald Trump, or his administration. Its the impact these actions will have on the millions of Americans directly affected by irresponsible policies put forth by climate change deniers. Latino communities may be most at risk because of their occupations, where they live and their limited access to clean resources and health care. Addressing climate change is literally a matter of life and death for Latinos, but the Trump administration continues to undermine the EPAs budget and mission.
Latino communities know the risks they face and they care deeply about the environment: 9 out of 10 Latinos want the government to protect future generations from the dangers of climate change. The climate crisis will not go away if we continue to ignore it, and as a community affected most directly, Latinos must be at the forefront, making our voices heard to prevent the massive cuts expected to hit the EPA.

What is a Latino? I don’t know of any country called Latin, or a race of Latins. Maybe Italia?
Sorry Huff-Poseurs.... but AMERICA FIRST!!!!
Women and minorities hardest hit, it’s an old story. Emphasis on “story”.
Do they speak Latin?
They’ll do better in Mexico or Guatemala, right? < /sarc >
WTF? What a load...
Spotted Owl Studies Defunded.
Latinos hardest hit.
I am pretty sure Latinos are not an endangered species.
In an epi, Montalbano stops one of the senior cops in the hall, and asks if he knows Latin:
Cop: "Latin? Sure."
Montalbano: "Can you translate this?"
Cop: "Oh the language. I though you were asking about my accountant, Mr. Latin..."
Hey Albert, why don’t you go back to Mexico and enjoy the environmental paradise.
Don’t the rest of us breathe the same air?
Awwwww. Shucie duckie.
What is his address so we can send him a dime and he can call someone who cares?
With the help of CommonCore, one can easily find the country of Hispania.
It's right next to Ebonia, whose people speak Ebonics!
I conducted my own poll and found that:
* 9 out of 10 Latinos want somebody else to pay for it
* 9 out of 10 Latinos don't have any science training to evaluate whether man-caused climate change is a hoax
* 9 out of 10 Latinos fall for Democrat talking points hook, line and sinker
* 9 out of 10 Latinos like socialism
But in this case, it's LATINOS hardest hit. Screw all other minorities and women.
Not exactly.
They speak Latin American.
