US gov’t and other sources say #DPRK has apparently placed a nuclear device in a tunnel and it could be detonated Saturday AM #Korea time.

“We have no comment at this time but we will be watching closely,” an NSC official tells @VOANews.

I wonder among all of those Generals covered in medals, how many of them are moles placed by the ChiComs?

In the SK military it used 2b when you were called to attention, everybody would sound off with, “Unification..!”

And that’s, “Tongil..!”

I don’t know if they still do that, but if you didn’t with great gusto, you’d be in trouble.

My guess — Kim Jong-un is going to have the opportunity to look over his shoulder to see who is going to remove him from power first.

Yep. His days are numbered. It's time for him to go.

And while I opposed last week's attacks on Syria, I would wholeheartedly support taking Kim out. He's increasingly irrational and he has nukes. His aim is improving.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see something big happen in the next few days.

It's true - GHWB is the outlier. And his son learned that lesson well - start a war, and don't f around with taxes.

Carter & Ford did not have the God-given sense to start a war (and Carter, such an incredible anti-semite that he passed on a logical, paradigm-shifting war with Iran that would have pre-empted GWB's war, and possibly even 9/11).

But then back to Hoover and Taft, same - so one outlier in the 20th Century.

The takeaway: Press war button, receive bacon.

It’s “Reunification” in Hangul. The ROK Army soldiers would say it when saluting officers at Camp Red Cloud when I was at I Corps (ROK/US) Group headquarters.

I thought it was "Power of Unity"

All I know about the ROK Army is from watching 'Descendants of the Sun'

China will likely bomb NOKO so far back that the stone age will look positively modern.

So China said ... if any nuclear problems arise in NE China because of Kimmy’s nukes.

DJT will have to stand in line ... no matter, there will be little left of NOKO and most of the putative refuges will be ash, pieces, and parts.

Yep, there’s usually a running MSTK3-like commentary going on.

I like how they always refer to it as “Best Korea” in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

Wait a minute weren't 'Little Boy' and 'Fat Man' the names of the A-bombs we set off in Japan in 1945? (my gosh, was that really 72 years ago...?)

I suspect 'Fat Boy' would be a fitting name if we set one off in nearby Pyongyang in 2017.
