In the last few weeks, there has been a spate of columns by writers on the left condemning the left-wing college students who riot, take over university buildings and shout down speakers with whom they differ...
Here's the problem:
It is the left that transformed universities into the moral and intellectual wastelands most are now...

There are 33,619 private schools in the United States, serving 5.4 million PK-12 students. Private schools account for 25 percent of the nation’s schools and enroll 10 percent of all PK-12 students. Most private school students (79 percent) attend religiously-affiliated schools (see table 2 of the PSS Report).

Reminds me of the scene in Cabaret when the young Nazi is singing in the beer garden. Only a few people realize the horror that is about to engulf Germany and some intellectuals actually think they can control the young Brown Shirts.
Tomorrow belongs to me Cabaret

Of course, the brilliant minds we have in charge KNOW they can handle it direct their anger, moderate it. But we know better. Once the genie is out of the bottle there’s no controlling it. The only winning move is to not let it out of the bottle.

Isn’t that what the left does?

My grandfather didn’t think anything could happen to him in a civilized country like Germany, when he owned a factory and many shops. Until on Kristallnacht when the thugs entered his home and dragged him out in front of his wife and little boys (my dad was 7) and threw hm into Buchenwald.
So I’ve never believed for one second that it couldn’t happen here. It could. It depends on us.
That scene from Cabaret gives me chills. Very well done.

"Never can happen in civilized country", "but we are German citizens" are some of the quotesI have read from Holocaust survivors. That is why it gets me so mad when I hear these left wingers call conservatives NAZIs.
The scene from Cabaret still gives me the chills as well every time I see it. If that scene were re-made today it would take place in a Mosque instead of a beer garden and instead of singing they would be praying.

Really? If you say so Dennis.
I haven’t seen or heard a single leftist denouncing anything. All I’ve seen is leftists who justify the violence as being the inevitable result of “provocation” from Trump, conservatives, Christians, etc.
But okay. If you say so.

Exactly. German citizens. Nothing could happen, right? Whole towns bought shoes from them.
Then their citizenship was STRIPPED by an evil leadership.
How could that NOT happen here? A non citizen was our President, voted in happily, for 8 years.
The Cabernet song, if done now, would be Tomorrow Belongs To Allah.

It is why “democracy” was known to be so evil and feared not only by our Founders, but by the Greeks. Even in Athens, where the concept originated, the brilliant Greek Masters all knew that democracies are nothing but a prelude to Socialism (slavery) and tyranny— “group” (non) ‘think” systems with NO individual rights allowed, where the elites with their rhetoric controls the emotions of the masses who will ALWAYS tyrannize the individual.
That is WHY we do NOT have a democracy, but a constitutional Republic which embraces individual natural rights from God (only).
Emotions ALWAYS rule “democracies” and since we are herd animals, we do NOT want to be isolated or Alinskied and rejected-—a natural human emotion, so we eject Reason for emotions (we love to be popular ).
When Reason is thrown away (Individualism) for group-”think”, you get ignorant masses being duped by a few elites’ rhetoric, just like Hitler did in Germany. As the Greeks knew, the rhetoric is always irrational and can make Good into Evil, like they did with sodomy and baby-killing here in the USA using our “Justice” (virtue) System (illegally, of course).
Vice collapses cultures and it is unconstitutional in our system based on Natural Law theory to promote irrationality and evil over Reason and Virtue. Now, the skools are lying to little children to normalize vice and make children irrational (emotionally controlled) for life.

FTA: Here's the problem: It is the left that transformed universities into the moral and intellectual wastelands most are now.
It is the left that created the moral monsters known as left-wing students who do not believe in free speech, let alone tolerance.
It is the left that has taught generations of young Americans that America is essentially a despicable society that is racist and xenophobic to its core.
It is the left that came up with the lie that the university has been overrun by a "culture of rape."
It is the left that taught generations of Americans that everyone on the right is sexist, intolerant, xenophobic, homophobic, racist and bigoted.
It is the left that is anti-intellectual, teaching students to substitute feelings for reason.
It is the left that removed the portrait of Shakespeare hanging in the English department of the University of Pennsylvania because Shakespeare is a white male, thereby teaching college students that art is not measured by excellence or by the pursuit of truth but by race, gender and class.
It is the left that has transformed the Founding Fathers of the United States from great men who created the freest and most affluent society in human society into rich racist white males who created a racist, colonialist, imperialist, women-hating, foreigner-hating, non-white-hating society.
Yes, it is the Leftists on campus who have created this monster, although I see that the Lib woman prof who got attacked at Middlebury College has blamed Trump for the riot. It takes an intellectual to believe something that dumb.
