The government should NOT be involved in healthcare. Medicare is going to be forever... we don’t want any more.
A very few federal regulations for the health insurance industry is all we need.
1. All insurance policies can be sold in all 50 states
2. Every company needs to offer, among whatever else they want to offer, at least one low cost catastrophic plan.
3. Every company needs to offer at least one high cost pre-existing plan.
The Feds can offer start up funding to states encouraging CHARITIES to run free and low cost clinics in their state.

When wages withholding for health insurance in a paycheck exceeded federal tax withholding the government went all in. They will never give it up.

And nothing in the President's campaign promise suggested a multi-layered phased-in repeal and replace.
If this passes, without helping the people who need help with accessing affordable insurance and healthcare--ie: his voters, the POTUS runs the risk of looking less than honest or less than capable.
It is WAY to early in his term for either ... and I'm not talking about an analogy.

No, the President is at the helm and the repeal and replacement of Obamacare is one of the reasons.
If Congress is blocking him, he needs to let us know how and we will stand and help push them in the right direction.
But, apparently, the President thinks this plan is "wonderful". So maybe we don't need to be blaming Congress.
Well it is up to us to control our reps and senators to get what we want.
Not open letters or press releases or pretty pleases.
We have all become soft with congress recently and let them slide while the left have flooded town halls with shills.
We cannot just sit on our butts and just expect them to do what is right this time. We are the ones that cannot betray ourselves this time.
They passed a straight repeal already. Obama vetoed.
