Initiate a recall election on Lindsey Graham? (vanity)

Posted on 12/15/2016 3:24:46 AM PST by Trump-a-licious

Can Lindsey Graham be recalled? I know it was tried on Scott Walker by the dems but I don't know if it's possible in Lindsey Graham's situation? It seems to me his actions are wreckless and in conflict with the party he is supposedly representing.

Members of both houses of Congress cannot be recalled. Nor can members of the Texas State Legislature be recalled or any state official in TX.

That is correct.

There is, however, a procedure whereby the members of the House or Senate (IIRC) can refuse to seat a prospective member. This was done during reconstruction I believe.

Just like John McCain and Susan Collins, it seems that voters in their districts have their heads up their asses and will continue to reelect these idiots. At least one could say these idiots represent their constituency.

LG can he bought. Maybe some crowd funding thing can make him an existential offer to “retire”.

I do believe Senators can only be impeached, not recalled. Governors in some states can be recalled.

We recalled Gray Davis here in Cali a while back. We ended up with Arnold who turned out to be a disaster. I was still very happy that we at least recalled Davis.

Palmetto people have long thought “Loveable Lindsey” is a conservative, and nothing changes minds there.

Perhaps an unfortunate accident where the horse ‘impaling’ him from behind, slips his harness and crushes him.

Lindsey The (not so) Great!

He makes my skin crawl. I don’t see how they could see him as lovable—let alone conservative.

Of course, I’m in Connecticut—and really not in a position to speak.

The simple solution here is term limits.

We have a RINO in our state that supports the cheap labor express. He was an outstanding governor. When he got to DC he was lassoed by the US Chamber Of Commerce. I’d like to see him gone too, but he wins by landslides.

He’s a fake.

One gets the opinion that they just can’t seem to find anyone to replace the guy....which just makes you laugh. I’d just as soon see some Democrat take his position than he continue this fake acting job.

Unfortunately like any other state the majority of SC voters are low information voters (this fits the voters who lean left or right)

Nah just have O'Keefe find a decent looking guy who looks much younger than his age, put a hidden camera on him and have him keep running into Graham until he puts the move on him, then air it. You can just look at Graham and see the queer eye.
