Savage warns Trump on Priebus: Looks like 'Jeb Bush won'

As one of his biggest supporters during the presidential election campaign, Michael Savage vowed to hold Donald Trump’s feet to the fire should he win, ensuring that the real-estate billionaire fulfills his promise to reform Washington.

Less than a week after Trump’s victory, the nationally syndicated talk-radio host is keeping his word, criticizing the appointment of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as White House chief of staff.

“We’ve gone from RINOs to Rinso in one election,” Savage told WND, dubbing Priebus with the name of the iconic laundry soap.

Didn't we just vote the Uniparty out.....? Why is Trump inviting them to own the election?

Given the bang-up job Priebus did with Trump’s election, I would say he earned Trump’s trust. Not everyone in the GOP is the enemy.

Just the opposite.

Trump cut a deal with Priebus early in the process.
Stick with me, kid, and you’re going places.

Thus he became a Trump insider in charge of the whole party apparatus. The RINOS never knew what hit them.

I never disagreed with Savage more than when I heard yesterday’s opening. What Savage conveniently left out that Preibus withstood the attacks against Trump and all of the demands that Trump be replaced. He was steadfast, and did not join the RINOs with long knives.

That's based on the assumption that Priebus is going to be controlling Trump's agenda, rather than the concept that the Trump has hired someone who has already proven himself to be good at carrying out Trump's instructions.

If Preibus were working for President Elect Jeb Bush, then yes...but he isn't.

I admit that Priebus gives me pause but for the moment will see where it all goes.

Savage is a pompous blowhard who thinks he created Trump in the first place. He talks more about himself than any other person I know of.

He has a position in which a loyalist can override him (Bannon). Not only that, but now there’s an opening in the RNC chairman which can be replaced by someone who isn’t a RINO.

If Trump is as cagey as I think he might be, he’ll probably dump him in 6 months anyway.

I voted for a wall, to end Obamacare, to end illegal immigration, to end unfair trade deals, to end American jobs and manufacturing going overseas, to end American impotence in foreign policy, to rebuild our military, to fix the veteran’s care system, and to enact a better tax structure.

Those need to be accomplished. I don’t have them in order of priority, but I think the wall is job one.

Savage needs to relax. Trump can give Pints they axe if he doesn’t do the job.

If Priebus doesn’t work Trump can always say”Your Fired.” Priebus so far has earned it. Savage take a deep breath.

I'm sure president Trump will keep his eye on Priebus. I think Trump hired him because he knows the republicans inside and out. Trump will need that inside information to get things done. We will see what happens.

I like that he called out Priebus, but saying “Jeb won” was WAY OVER THE TOP.

So far, Trump has made excellent decisions. I will give him the benefit of the doubt on Priebus.

Even though my standard respoonse to EVERY email from the GOP signed by Priebus got a simple response from me “F*** U Priebus”

I don’t blame conservatives for being gun shy. We have come to expect the bait and switch - even with Reagan it was a big issue that RINOs were getting into his inner circle.

Remember “Let Reagan be Reagan”?

For some reason, I have a good feeling about Trump in this regard. If there has been any bait and switch, it has been the opposite:

He began his campaign with everyone assuming he was a democrat running as a republican, and every revelation since then that exposes who he really is - shows him to be more conservative than anyone thought!

“Didn’t we just vote the Uniparty out.....? Why is Trump inviting them to own the election? “

Seriously?

Swear to Christ this is why I’m glad Trump won the primaries.

There are just too many people on the conservative side that are like the simpletons on the left.

You have a really recent join date, so pardon me if I'm skeptical of your motives. But you and Savage seem not to understand what Trump has already done. He's saved us from an absolutely psychotic, evil, reprobate, malicious alcoholic president and conceivably has reshaped American politics for the foreseeable future.

Give the man a chance to at least get into office before you start lining up to spit on him.

Before I tuned in Michael Savage yesterday, I predicted that, as reliably as the sun rising in the morning, he would be going ballistic because Trump wasn't picking the same people that he would have picked.
