I saw a couple photos of Bill Clinton during her speech yesterday and he did look upset at this loss. They have had a lifetime of top power positions, money, special treatment, lots of influence. I really do not think either of them have any idea of how to live normally after a lifetime of all this. They will still get the special treatment, given he is an ex-president. But I don’t think Hillary knows what to do with a quiet day where there isn’t someone catering to her. She doesn’t bake cookies. I can’t see her knitting booties for her grandchildren. I don’t think she knows how to live quietly and normally.
They no longer have a viable path to power and its associated wealth.
Watch the Clinton “charity” donations dry up. Will be very telling to see how much they collect if there aren’t any favors to sell.
Much as I would like to see both Clinton’s prosecuted and do jail time, maybe it is just as well they slink away humiliated and disgraced. They are no longer heros except to hardcore fans and most people now see them as they are tawdry grifters, serial liars and common criminals who were able to lie their way out of trouble just too many times.
