Poll: Donald Trump One Point Behind Hillary Clinton in Michigan
Breitbart ^ | 03/11/2016 | Breitbart News

A new Michigan poll shows that Donald Trump is only one point behind Hillary Clinton in the battleground state, according to a 500-person likely-voter poll conducted by a GOP polling firm. The poll records Clinton’s support at 45 percent, while Trump’s support has climbed to 44 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 5 percent, and Green Party’s Jill Stein is at 2 percent.

The poll was conducted Oct. 29 to Oct. 30 It is either an outlier or an early warning of a Trump surge in the critical state, whose 16 Electoral Votes could provide a path to the White House for Trump.

“Michigan is moving to a toss up because Donald Trump is uniting the Republican base, has a strong lead among Independents, is on the verge of record support in blue collar areas such as Macomb County, and gains a higher proportion of African Americans than Republican candidates usually get in Michigan,” said a Facebook statement by John Yob, head of Strategic National, the firm which conducted the poll.

I'm out of the prediction business, and no longer get my hopes up... but we have now seen about 8 consecutive state polls in key battlegrounds that show what ammounts to a Trump surge.

What are the odds that most of these polls have been under-polling Trump’s support all along, whether manipulated by the polling groups or guarded interest in Trump by some of the voters? I really don’t know. We don’t see any polls outside of the USC/LA Times poll showing Trump with a consistent lead on Hillary.

Good Michigan news.

I have no idea how to post an article, but today Monmouth has Trump surging in Utah, leaving McMullin in the dust.

Trump 37, Clinton 31, McMullin 24

A ‘consistent lead’ would be hard to measure given the massive news on Friday and its gradual effect as things get more serious. There isn’t enough time.

We dont want to ‘unskew’ the polls again, but objectively, Trump is doing better in the polls than Romney was, pretty much everywhere (except Utah which is a special case). And the fact is black turnout in early voting is down considerably. Last time, when people predicted that blacks wouldnt come out to vote, the early vote was basically the same, but people said they wouldnt come out on the day. They did. The early voter turnout being down is very bad for Hillary.

I wont say yet that Trump will win, but we are mere days away. He is finishing the race how he would have liked to. She definitely isn’t.

Four days ago and we’re just now seeing it?

1. Either it is bogus or if it is real...

2. Trump is no longer 1 point behind but 3 points ahead.

McMuffin should be deported after the election. Maybe placed in the same prison as PIAPS.

Not underpolling, tweaking the sampling. Go to CTH, and read what Sundance has been saying about it for months. That is why I am so optimistic, I don't turn on the BS news. I see huge rallies, social media dominance, LEO support, Military Support, AA's breaking away, Milo and the gay community support and with all that who am I gonna believe, the lame streams or my eyes?

On Michigan...

* The UAW is in revolt, go to their Facebook page and read the postings, they are utterly defiant with their postings, reprisals be damned, man these folks have a pair. Their is more, I'll save for 11/7...

I live in East Lansing. Big lib area. Yet Trump signs outnumber Clinton signs at least 50 to 1 Doesn’t mean it will shake out that way but I can’t imagine his support in non-lib areas.

I have tried to tell everyone since day one... Trump will take rust belt. Hillary never was going to play there.. Trump is going to take large numbers of working class white Dems, especially in this section of the country... Hillary can lose them and have any shot. It’s their biggest voting block and she’s going to lose a lot of them... Her support is down across the board every demographic.. She won’t get anywhere near O’s 2012 numbers and Trump is going to massively beat RomneyMcCain and Bush’s numbers in this region. He damn likely may beat Obama’s... Hillary can’t win... She’s going down hard...

Il and MN are the only states she has any shot at holding.

Any state she’s polling less than 5 up in she’s going to lose. Anywhere she is under 10 is a toss up.

I live in a lib part of Grand Rapids, and remember 2008. People here were fanatical about Obama.

Now? Some perfunctorily Hillary signs, still a number of Bernie signs out, a big sign for the Green Party, and a recent visit from Trump that brought out thousands at noon on a Monday of all times!

The local DNC HQ had to beg for volunteers.

We Trump people are just waiting for our turn. West Michigan is soooooooo ready.

Don’t believe the numbers, but believe the trend. Clearly Trump is surging right now. Hopefully this will be a replay of 1980 when Reagan was behind in the polls a week before election. We know what happened then.

They have been, they have been using 2012 as a baseline which was garbage!! Support hasn’t changed for Trump as much as exit polling of early voting has forced them to change their assumptions.

And the minute they did that, the obvious and undeniable reality started to show up in the polls... There is probably some movement as last minimize deciders are breaking Trump but most of this par 2 weeks is simply the pollsters adjusting their assumptions to the reality that the early voting exit polling is telling them is going on.

Hillary has no path to 270. Never did.

Spoke with a pollster in Macomb Co. today. Trump VERY good there. Not as good in Oakland (”single digit deficit”). We don’t need to win Oakland or Wayne, just not get killed. But I don’t have the target % of what we need to get.

Also, he said in western MI republican voters are “coming home.”
