CNN/ORC polls: Trump's National Gains Extend To Florida, Ohio
CNN ^ | 14 September 2016

Posted on 09/15/2016 2:49:53 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Among likely voters in Ohio, Trump stands at 46% to Clinton's 41%, with 8% behind Libertarian Gary Johnson and 2% behind Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

In Florida, likely voters split 47% for Trump to 44% for Clinton, within the poll's 3.5 percentage point margin of error, and with 6% behind Johnson and 1% backing Stein.

...

Trump does hold an edge among whites with college degrees in both states; he's up 9 points among that group in Ohio and 8 points in Florida.

Both candidates have the support of roughly 9 in 10 of their own partisans in each state, but Clinton trails Trump among independent voters in both places, with Trump up 10 points among independents likely to vote in Florida and 8 points in Ohio.

Younger voters, who were a key driver of President Barack Obama's support in both 2008 and 2012, are not lining up as solidly behind Clinton in either state, and they are less likely than older voters to make it through a likely voter screen at this point in the campaign, suggesting they are less enthusiastic about voting in this election.

My heart bleeds for CNN; they must be grief-stricken having to reports this trend.

I don’t see how she can recover those lost points, and indeed by the time the debates roll around, which it appears she will not be in any physical condition to attend, she won’t be able to climb out of the pit at all.

With Clinton being so far down in the polls, if I were Donald Trump I would find somewhere to hide safely, no doubt Hitlary has a “hit” out for him already.

I want to watch the reactions of these people on Election Night and to hear them say things like, "What the hell is going on here?" or "I don't understand how all these people can be voting for Trump" and "Are the American people stupid?". The shock on their faces will be priceless.😃

CNN just says the race has always been neck and neck, then trows up smoke by speculating on internals, poll subgroups, and how the Crooked campaign can improve its performance in the polls.

When the Clinton press sycophants start writing opinion pieces about the possibility that Clinton might win the popular vote, yet lose the election (and how unfair that is), then you’ll know they believe she’s behind in the polls.

I listen to talk radio, read FR and a few other sites. I try not to watch tv news but admit I tucked in yesterday for about 30 minutes. Bad move.

I go to The Guardian every day for a good laugh.

CNN, I think, usually over samples with democrats. If that’s the case this time, Trumps lead is even YUGER! YUGE I tell ya!
