Step forward and stand tall, millennials, your moment has come at last. The baby boomers are starting to retire. Generation X is turning tired and gray. But millennials are now the single largest bloc of citizens and workers, 80 million strong. The keys to the country are in your hands.
Please dont drive it into a ditch.

You have your liberal (city) Millennials and you have your conservative (country/military) M’s.
They’re more polarized than other generations.
I agree with you. These kids have been handed a bad deal all around. During their childhood, many of them were in the care of strangers starting at the age of 6 weeks.
...most are not equipped to succeed....

Just as it was planned by Alinsky and his ilk.
I was one of those parents.
- I’m the woman who had the police called because I let my son climb a tree
- I’m the woman who had to face glares and potential charges of child abuse every time one of my kids got hurt and had to go to the ER
- I’m the parent who had total strangers screaming at me when I let my 9 and 11 year old go to the park by themselves directly across the street
- I’m the parent who bought land in Texas just to let my kids PLAY outside without outside interference
Something BROKE in our society in the early 90’s and suddenly the pressure on parents - with the threat of legal consequences - hit us full force. Mothers protested when they told us we had to keep our kids in car seats until they were 12 or at least 5’ tall. Like the mothers of every generation before us, we did our best, but we were blamed if *anything* went wrong. We were chastised and condemned if we let our kids roller skate without every part of their body protected and - Lord forbid - they fall down.
My daughter fell down at a roller skating rink - in front of hundreds of witnesses (including two police officers) - and the doctor called CPS on me when I took her to the ER. They investigated us and it was only the testimony of the police that saved our family.
We didn’t have a *choice* but to helicopter.
And I personally know families that lost their kids for a time and went through a living nightmare with child protective services for years - after letting their kids play outside.
This wasn’t specific to one town or even country. We were military and lived all over the place. NOBODY was relaxed about parenting.
Personally, I blame the ‘mandatory reporting’ laws. They’re so damn non-specific that a bruise has to be reported and that MUST be investigated.
Bwahaha! You ought to meet the ‘kids’ on my FB page.
“Screw Hillary!” “Go Trump!” “Try to take my guns!” “Feminist suck!” “Liberals are brain damaged!” “Let’s go hunting!” “Let the stupid pandas DIE! Worthless creatures!”
And that was just this morning. lol!
A typo for the ages.
Explains why spellcheck didn't catch it.
Sometime maybe one of you einsteins can tell me which generation was anything else but.
Did all this happen by chance?
Familiar with http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1272893/posts ?
Familiar with The Frankfurt School?
It’s going to be OK. They all got a nice trophy for “participation” so what could possibly go wrong with a value system and work ethic like that?
