The campaign to keep Britain in the European Union has taken an 18 percentage point lead over the "Out" campaign ahead of a June 23 referendum, its widest in three months, a telephone opinion poll by Ipsos MORI showed on Wednesday.

Sterling climbed to a three-week high on the news, which adds to signs that the "Remain" campaign may be starting to pull ahead after weeks of warnings from the British government and international bodies about the economic cost of leaving the EU.

In a poll commissioned by the Evening Standard newspaper, Ipsos MORI found 55 percent of those surveyed supported staying in the EU while 37 percent wanted to leave and 8 percent were undecided.

Switzerland isn’t an EU member, and they are doing just fine.

Even people who know that getting out is the only smart thing to do get nervous and fear the change, any big change.

The best solution would be to dissolve the EU. Let the countries manage well or fail in the eyes of the world leaders. But those who have their evil ways protected by the EU will not let that happen.

Maybe they can do what Lincoln did and go to war to keep them in the union?

The British people are letting their ruling elite import millions of hostile Moslems bent on seizing control of UK... and now they are polling in favor of staying under the Brussels/Berlin dictatorship?

how sad. how very very sad.

sad sad sad
(America’s future, too...alas!)

but Scotland will rise again, I promise you our Scottish poster friend is reading this and so I will save him the task of having to post this assurance....! which I believe to be true, incidentally. The Romans were never able to subdue the Scots. The English only did so spasmatically and generally quite unsuccessfully. They’re invincible when they get their dander or kilts up..or whatever. smile smile smile)

Thanks Berlin_Freeper. Get ready for the supposed surge in support to be attributed to panic over Trump. I watched a video snip on CNBC (via Roku) this morning, regarding how the bad news about Greece has been back-burnered by the EU and the alleged news orgs in Europe, in order to keep Britain from thinking about how they're going to have to bear a good chunk of that bailout burden unless they make Bregress/Brexit/Brixit. British public sentiment had previously been slightly more on the side the Greeks, so it's just better for everyone /s if no one thinks too much about the consequences.
