Good God. If you think trump hasn’t done well with voters. Wait until you see Cruz’s totals. Yieks! If you take out Texas, the vote totals are pathetic. And once trump takes the northeast, Cruz’s total votes will even look more anemic.

Trump knew the rules, was there, and they blocked him out. nevertrump was their actual mission.

I think Trump deliberately let Colorado go the way it did so he could use it to show who corrupt politics is. Ever think of that??

Trump directly reaches 10+ million with tweets and facebook posts, then there are shares and retweets. He can reach 10 million people in minutes.

Think about it. He’s going to blow this up.

The major rules changes after Romney greatly benefited Trump.

And he has many more delegates than he has votes proportionately.

So, my point is it seems hypocritical of him to complain about ‘disenfranchisement’ or state rules that end up not favoring him - particularly ones where his own incompetence and lack of organization were a major cause.

Are you backing away from touting Trump’s concern on disenfranchised voters? Is that no longer a point?

If so, I agree with you.

I wonder what rule this guy violated? I find it amusing that none of the “cut-n-paste” stories about this guy tells us the reason given for his exclusion.

Right. They “blocked him out.” How did they do that?

Cruz is a senator who stood 21 hours to stop nothing. Americans knew him from day one. He was so weak in the south. If the media were honest, they should have called for his suspended candidacy then and if not then, then when Cruz lost 6 out of 6 contests on March 15th. They didn’t because they know he is establishment and will do their bidding.

Are you serious?? He violated the nevertrump rule. No way to rationally, ethically, or morally defend what happened in Colorado.

I agree with Jim;

Surely he was given a reason by the organizers. Why doesn’t he share that?

I am sure they didn’t say “we disqualified you since you voted for Trump.”

You gullible people.

Gullible??

Step back and take an honest look at what actually happened in Colorado!!!

>>an effort by a group of conservative billionaire donors to convince Mattis to consider an independent run.

Now, THAT’S what freedom sounds like, fellow peasants! Our betters are finally waking up to tell us who our choice MUST be.

They must need to offshore some more manufacturing jobs and bring in some more third world service industry workers. As long as one blue collar American has a job with benefits, their work is not complete.

Since we all know there is no love lost between the Cruz/Trump supporters, the voting process at the convention could be a real donnybrook. After a couple days of that, many will be more than ready for a compromise.

Enter the compromise - John Kasich, someone that the delegates and the TV audience are at least familiar with. Just MHO of course. But he’s been hanging around for a reason.

Not where the people aren’t allowed to vote like in Colorado!

BOOM! Trump Advisor Stephen Miller: “Cruz Doesn’t Win with Voters, Cruz Wins with Party Insiders”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3419747/posts

Steven is the Jeff sessions top advisor who now works for Trump NOT Cruz!

Look what happened in Colorado cannot be defended on any moral, ethical, or rational grounds. So stop trying to do it already. It looks real lame.

So, Colorado is not ok, but Trump getting more delegates than votes other places is ok and out-maneuvering Cruz’s support in Michigan is ok.

That would be hypocritical.

Each state party has wide berth on how they select their delegates. Trump did not have the support of those who selected the delegates, Cruz did. The rules are the same for both candidates. Trump failed to accomplish the mission: win delegates to the convention. It’s no one else’s fault but his: he did not build support where it mattered.

>>>Cruz Wins with Party Insiders”

Party insiders are the ones who do the work to build organization, campaigns, get out voters and elect candidates to local, county and state offices.

I think it is a bad position to have candidates selected by party outsiders. Kanye West is a party outsider.

If Kasich is the nominee then there really WON’T be any reason at all to vote in November.
