That same thug kidnaped a 6 year old child and was given 90 days in prison.

Kim says he shot the perp when the perp grabbed for Kim’s gun. DA says Kim shot the perp in the back as he was attempting to flee the store. If Kim is right, it’s self defense. If DA is right, then it’s murder.
I hope he has a good attorney.

Many years ago I went to a one room school in Spanaway. I loved it.
Yep, not gonna second guess a split second decision by the clerk when the adrenaline is pumping. If the perp thought it was worth his life to engage in the crime, who are we to say otherwise?
That makes for a great bumper sticker but in real life, it's a little more complicated. Poor guy has a gunshot wife unable to work from a previous robbery and now he's going to hemorrhage every penny he has defending himself from charges that could send him to prison for decades.
Better to not have to be judged at all.

Perhaps the store had security tapes which will exonerate him. unless security tapes show otherwise .
I hate the thought that we all must now go through life with a camera on our lapel , jut to show our innocence .

This is the same store where he wife was in a gunfight with a robber a month ago. His wife was shot, but was released from the hospital the same day. Here is an article with video link about the wife’s gunfight:
