Conservative TV personality Glenn Beck had a funny way of defending his main squeeze Ted Cruz on his program Monday morning. He burst out laughing and said, I have to tell you, its been a hard Monday morning. We were all been raped by Ted Cruz.
Beck was referring to himself and his male colleagues.
Realizing that starting out the show with a fake rape scene was probably in poor taste, he promised viewers theyd clean themselves up and try to do a show without all the Latin lovin.
But first Beck needs a post-coital smoke. I need a cigarette, he cracked. Talk about lovin and leaving em.
He recalled the ways in which Cruz made him swoon.
When he said to me, he said, Glenn, we need a more perfect union, at first I thought he was talking to me about the Constitution, but then he looked at me with those strong brown eyes, he said. He backed me into a bathroom stall and, uh
[conversation trails off..]

WOW...Beck is awesome. Keep going Glen, Ted’s not quite dead yet, just mostly dead all day.
What is this? A Cuban version of a pontoon boat?
Knowing GB personally for six years, I think he has changed and gone far, far from “effective political satire.”
Actually, it is a pontoon boat made of a 52 Chevy truck and a bunch of 55 gallon drums welded together. It is quite ingenuous actually.
Teb and Stabby are both insane, neither one of them or hillary must ever reach WH.
no man, this is beyond disturbing. joking about rape?
Ted MUST be insane to have this guy’s backing.
last time i heard an officeholder refer jokingly to rape was when i was a kid.
He was talking to a bunch of cowboys and said that something bad (i forget what) was like rape. You can’t do anything about it so just enjoy it.
WHAT A SICK SICK statement. just like this one.
i was a kid, but anyone out there remember who that politician was?
I truly thought he would take the disciples to Guyana to reopen Jonestown.
You know, for all the non-scandal this thing supposedly is, they’re sure going off the deep end in a lot of ways.
This has the earmarks of disaster. If it doesn’t turn out that way, I’ll now be surprised.
The behavior just gets more bizarre. What next? Jeb gets in on the act?
I think those things are going to become collector’s items for all the wrong reasons.
It’s like they’re laying the groundwork for when the real thing hits. Trying to make it “funny” or even more outrageous to soften the impact of the real story.
It will fail of course. Coast-to-Coast will have more legitimacy that GB.
It was Clayton Williams in a campaign against Ann Richards.
Maybe just maybe it will sink in...
Is this humor? Hard to tell with Beck.
Is there ANYTHING you can ask on this site that can’t be answered!? :)
thanks. I was positive it happened.
Did it destroy his career? It must have.
I vaguely remember him defending himself by saying this is a tough crowd or tough territory, or something.
He got blown out in an election he was winning. In a footnote I didn’t remember, he donated a ton of money to McCain and was scheduled to have McCain at his home, but then McCain was tipped to his comments and canceled. McCain didn’t give back the money.
His career as a politician was over, but he was an oilman and he isn’t about to starve. Net worth is listed at $100 million on the interwebs.
Carpenter, MS pastor, Beck etc , cruz seems to attract nuts, supporters and staffers, it is like seeing the modern version of the Ron Paul campaign.
I have never seen such a bizarre campaign in recent times and no wonder it has failed and he is losing.
From the mailing list sent out in Iowa to telling voters two candidates are dropping out, to attacking Trumps wife and bringing her into the campaign and now Carpenter who is looking more and more nuts.
All the white cruz keeps denying he knows nothing about any of this and it was others who are to blame.
It is just bizarre.
Best response o’the month.
