Why Rubio Struck Out
American Thinker ^ | March 18, 2016 | Steve Feinstein

Marco Rubio’s 2016 Presidential campaign is over. Under-performing from the start, never able to get real traction and command serious attention from either the media or Republican Party insiders, Rubio vacated his Florida Senate seat to embark on a fool’s errand, chasing a ghost he never had any chance of capturing.

Going in, it looked better: If there was ever a prototypically-perfect Republican candidate for a normal election cycle, Rubio was certainly it:

Check, check, check. Every box, like no other Republican candidate, ever. Bring ‘em on. Finally -- this is the Republican candidate with the political skills and personal qualities that can go toe-to-toe with Hillary and the liberal media and beat them outright. This is not the milquetoast Bob Dole or the old, unattractive only-sort-of-conservative John McCain or the strangely placid and complacent Mitt Romney.

“it’s simple...he was the face of the gang of 8.”

Rubio is a Washington insider. Now Cruz has joined up with the Washington insider group. Ted is throwing away his principles for money.

He struck out because he was an establishment-picked politician that they thought they could control if they let him become president.

I saw this years ago when Fox news became the ‘all-Rubio, all the time’ station when he originally ran.

I even wrote them a nasty-gram reminding them that there were a few hundred OTHER races in the country, AND Romney’s first name was NOT “frontrunner”.

Bingo...he’d have had 20-50 million illegals Mexicans and south Americans legalized and made citizens in a heartbeat. No question about it from my perspective.

He should be an actor. He memorizes his lines very well.

Christ destroyed him, but he could have survived if he didn’t go after trump. That was a lethal error. Cruz seems to be following the same failed path. Lately all Cruz is doing is complaining about trump. Not a winning strategy. I can see him at the Israeli conference crying about no debate and how trump is mean. If he does, it’s over for him.

I disagree. Cruz had money he needs support and to pull in the insider votes.

Just like Trump is pulling in the democrat voters...Cruz needs the moderate voters.

You obviously haven’t listened much to Trump. He is constantly ad-libbing and going off onto tangents.

That would drive any director crazy.

Cruz’s tantrums are so off putting to anybody not sipping the Kruz-Aid. It was hilarious at the last debate when Cruz turned a question on Cuba into a random smear of Trump. Just bizarre.

He is lazy (no show), with a foam-based “lifestyle” which has no possibility of Virtue. Vice breeds slavery only, and he is a slave to fame, money, and satanism (base sex instincts).

Only people with virtue (excellence) are true leaders. People without virtue, steal and cheat and lie and kill to get wealth and fame. Rubio is an “empty suit”—he is a media creation. He is an artificial media creation of lies by the billionaires who fund him and place him to be their puppet, and he is literally bought and controlled and sold to us 24/7, and he has absolutely no ability for a profound (moral) intellect (wisdom) or the ability to be a true leader (one with virtue).

Virtue is embedded and habituated in childhood. He has no virtue—he is controlled (no agency/Free Will) by others and has no ability for profound intellectual “thinking” for self.
