It came as no surprise that supporters of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum and the other occupiers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge that law enforcement officials determined that his fatal shooting was justified.....
In the words of the Twitter feed maintained by the family of patriot movement icon and Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, whose son Ammon spearheaded the Oregon occupation: "Government terrorists have investigated themselves and found that they did nothing wrong."
The investigation by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office revealed that Finicum was killed by three bullets that entered through his back after he reached three times for a loaded handgun in his left jacket pocket, officials said during a news conference Tuesday in Bend.
"In general, I don't think Finicum supporters or many of us out here are going to accept this investigation as conclusive," said Stewart Rhodes, president of Oath Keepers, one of the most prominent groups of the patriot movement......
"The family needs to assemble its own independent investigatory team and be able to assess the full evidence," Rhodes said. He called for law enforcement to make public audio of radio communications, among other related documentation.
Finicum's widow, Jeanette Finicum, released a statement shortly after the news conference concluded.
"No surprises," the statement said of the investigation's findings. "The purpose of that announcement was for state and federal agencies to continue to lay the foundation for their legal case."
She said her attorney "has assured me that we will seek justice in a different court, under different circumstances."
Officials revealed for the first time at the news conference that Oregon State Police troopers apparently were not the only ones to shoot during the confrontation where most of the occupation's leaders were arrested and Finicum was killed.
An FBI agent is suspected of lying about firing twice... .

Victoria Sharp was right when she said she was being shot out while in the vehicle.
The Justice Department (ha...ha....) is investigating the agent who fired the shots and lied afterwards along with four other agents who apparently helped the lying shooter.
The Oregon authorities are also holding back on releasing the rest of the video evidence etc. in the case along with the name of the two OSP troopers who shot at Finicum and killed him.
But we have LIVE witnesses.
There is more ‘tape’ out there, too.
Too bad. Murder DOES ‘out’, ya know.

LaVoy favored a shoulder rig and had a jacket on. How could someone who shot him in the back tell what he was reaching for?
So even the FBI realizes that there was an issue with one of their agents and that the story about “violence prone” rebels is falling apart...
What is missing is the audio. What I want to know is what verbal commands were being given to him. He gets out, hands up, then relatively slowly (not an attempt at a quick draw) reaches towards his jacket, then stops and puts his hands up, then reaches again...
I'm thinking he was being given conflicting verbal commands. But I would never trust any of the LEOs present to accurately relate what happened. We already know they have lied about it. Their integrity was shattered by the first lie.

Michael Brown's autopsy listed cause of death as "homicide" as well. Are you saying there is something suspicious in that shooting too?
For what its worth the kill shot was thru the back which pierced his heart.
Would it make it all better if the kill shot was through the front?

Says cause of death homicide.
So did Michael Brown's autopsy. So did Tamir Rice's autopsy. Were those murders as well?
From what I understand, the “homicide” designation merely means that the death was caused by a human; it’s not the same as “murder.”
I know. An autopsy finds cause of death and whether it was criminal or not. The fact that Finicum's cause of death was listed as homicide is irrelevant.
