This is the No. 1 reason I expect to vote for Cruz on March 1, but he may be out of the race by then.
If we are going to win, we have to adopt the mindset of a winner. Onward to victory!

Oh, great. Run on a social platform. Surest way to lose a general election.
Cruz has “dropped out”.

I would never vote for a candidate who claimed to be pro-abortion. However, now, that issue is been placed beyond political control by the Supreme Court ruling, just like gay marriage, which Cruz says it is not his top priority to fight. I know, I know, he said send it to the states, but that is an option that is not available. States have been fighting the same battle with the courts over abortion and they lose every time.
Abortion will require a Constitutional amendment, just like gay marriage.
Cruz can issue all the vote pandering statements until he is blue in the face, but unless he is calling for a Constitutional amendment, they are all useless.
I don’t see Cruz dropping out until after Florida.....he will suspend his campaign on March 16th.
This is one of the major reasons that I back Ted Cruz. I trust him to fight for life and to stand strong for social as well as fiscal conservatism.
Expressing concern about dead babies is the surest way of lossing! Its nasty and only losers would speak of it.
If you want to drop social conservatism out of the Republican Platform why don’t you join the libertarian party where you would fit right in. If we don’t fight for our values than our country isn’t worth saving.
I have seen Father Pavone, of Priests for Life, a number of times, praising Ted Cruz for standing up for religious freedom!
He’s a Priest. I would hope so.
Cruz of course following Trump’s lead. Trump released a lengthy statement and policy position on his pro-life position yesterday. Ted just always seems to be a step behind The Donald, in every way.
It’s really a sad turn of events when Ted Cruz can’t even release a statement that I agree with without lying.

IMO, the states have been doing an excellent job getting clinics shut down by applying standards to the doctors and the clinics.
We absolutely need a win in November as I don't think we can recover from 4-8 years of another Dem president.
With Cruz, I worry about his limited appeal to the evangelicals hurting him in the general.
With Trump, I worry about his brashness turning off too many people.
Going to be a long election.

The most important issue is islamic terrorism and the muslim invasion.
Cruz just solidified the reason why he’s not going to win the presidency. His priorities are wrong.

There’s such a thing as setting a spiritual stage for it first, and possibly Donald Trump seems to be more promising a help for that, believe it or not.
If you don’t get the spiritual stage set right for it, i.e. establish its context in godliness (I didn’t say morality or even values, but godliness), it is going to be only another idol or icon. It will get mocked and will fail to get a larger audience than the existing choir.
Whatever Donald Trump has done, even if he does not know gospel from goose feathers, he hasn’t traduced the gospel by cheering it on and then living in a different manner. “Whoever is not against us, is for us.”
Yeah I am being contrarian here. But sometimes a good face turns out to be a mask. Should Cruz permit God to clean up his manner so his lived witness comes up to his talk, we would have a whole ‘nother picture.
