Fifty years ago, these people would have been in Bellevue. Now the y run the city.
Well, I guess New Yorkers will have to adopt the custom of British public schools, of simply referring to everyone by last name only and not using any pronouns at all.
Counter-sue for them failing to call you “your majesty.”
Just exactly how is one expected to be able to read the minds of these poor, tortured souls to find out what random pronoun they prefer? It seems to change from day to day or even from minute to minute.
Gads, these immature, childish dudes in leadership... where are the men of strength and valor.. are there any left? The touchy feely gang have lost their minds... The feminists have feminized men to the extent they have no male brains.
The point of all of these kinds of regulations is not general enforcement but selective enforcement. They want a big stick to use against conservative activists and politicians when they feel the need to.
Oh, yeah. I’ve seen celebs there on occasion. Perfect, of course, for Lincoln Center events.
New York City needs to become like Detroit - economic death. All the productive people should leave NYC. Just don’t bring NYC ideas or “values”.
Is there any doubt that this isn’t America anymore?
Well, they should. The time for all decent people o get out of New York City has come. If all one can take with them is their hat, ass, and life it is more than they will have should they decide to remain. The early 930s in Germany was the time for the Jews that lived there to leave. Even if all they could take with them was the clothes on their backs and their lives. A few heeded the warnings in the signs at that time. Most did not and did not live.
How the heck are we suppose to know if they can’t figure it out themselves.
if gender is an opinion then opinions are free for everyone to distribute accordingly.
I have, with a company-wide trip for training, and I was underwhelmed. Yeah, it's big - a bunch of concrete and buildings - but the people are rude, short, low-class, and just not what I'd want to live around. I had bought a Yankees ball cap as a souvenir, and the tour bus guide told me while I got on board when he saw my cap, "real New Yorkers like the Mets." I didn't, but felt like relying, "well, thank God I'm not a real New Yorker, then."
I really thought this was a joke. **head shaking smiley**
Gone by Jan 2017.....that pesky 1st amendment.
One strategy would be simply to not acknowledge such people. Ignore them altogether.
"Piss Christ is a 1987 photograph by the American artist and photographer Andres Serrano. It depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist's urine. The piece was a winner of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art's "Awards in the Visual Arts" competition,[1] which was sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a United States Government agency that offers support and funding for artistic projects, without controlling content."
"In 1987, Serrano's Piss Christ was exhibited at the Stux Gallery in New York and was favorably received.[10] The piece later caused a scandal when it was exhibited in 1989, with detractors, including United States Senators Al D'Amato and Jesse Helms, outraged that Serrano received $15,000 for the work, and $5,000 in 1986[11] from the taxpayer-funded National Endowment for the Arts."

"The Holy Virgin Mary is a painting created by Chris Ofili in 1996. It was one of the works included in the Sensation exhibition in London, Berlin and New York in 1997-2000.
The subject of the work, and its execution, caused considerable controversy in New York, with Rudolph Giuliani - then Mayor of New York City - describing Ofili's work as "sick".[1]
In 1998, Ofili was the first black artist to be awarded the Turner Prize. The painting was sold for $4.6 million in June 2015.
On a yellow-orange background, the large painting (8-feet high and 6-feet wide) depicts a black woman wearing a blue robe, a traditional attribute of the Virgin Mary.
The work employs mixed media, including oil paint, glitter, and polyester resin, and also elephant dung, map pins and collaged pornographic images.
The central Black Madonna is surrounded by many collaged images that resemble butterflies at first sight, but on closer inspection are photographs of female genitalia; an ironic reference to the putti that appear in traditional religious art.
A lump of dried, varnished elephant dung forms one bared breast, and the painting is displayed leaning against the gallery wall, supported by two other lumps of elephant dung, decorated with coloured pins: the pins on the left are arranged to spell out 'Virgin' and the one on the right 'Mary'. Many other works by Ofili in this period - including No Woman No Cry - incorporate elephant dung, particularly as supports for the canvas, inspired by a period that Ofili spent in Zimbabwe.[2]
What if you say *it* ?
‘It’ would be my go-to...
Whatâs the penalty for calling Conservatives âTea Baggersâ?
None, you get a ten dollar gift certificate for each offense.
Here in the country we have small concrete structures that are like little slices of New York City, we call them septic tanks.
