Free speech is not free speech when it only applies to things you don’t find offensive.

The trouble with trying to define “hate speech” is you are being subjective. It is a very slippery slope. And while those trying to censor “hate speech” may have the best motives in mind (I am trying to give them the benefit of doubt), once established, and the people accept it as normal, the line can and will be moved.

At some point any speech the ruling class does not like will be labeled “hate speech” and any opposition to the ruling class voice silenced.
