Ted Cruz wins Maryland GOP Convention Straw Poll of Central Committee Members.
Understand these are loyal GOP activist in a very moderate Republican Party.
This is a major upset to Marco Rubio and the establishment.

Rubio 52 votes
Trump. 49 votes.
Carson 27 votes
Paul, Bush, Christie, and Kasiach, each received between 16-20 votes

I am a Trump supporter but if Cruz can take it all, that would be a primo outcome. Guess I’m not much of a Trump supporter....heh.

I don’t think Cruz would accept VP. I think Cruz would stay and should get the Senate Majority Leader when Trump wins.
Cruz can’t take VP. Would be a bold move hitching his wagon to the volatile Trump.
But if he did. Trump would be the front man and Cruz would do the heavy lifting. That wouldn’t be bad.

His wife is CFR and Goldman Sachs.

According to a poll I saw on Fox News this morning every serious GOP candidate including Cruz would defeat Hillary.

Name one establishment Repubkican who loves Ted Cruz. George W. Bush hates him, Boehner hates him, McConnel hates him, McCain hates him, Rubio hates him, hell most of his GOPe fellow senators hate him and the list goes on and on. The only establishment candidates in this cycle are Bush, Rubio, Kasich, and Christie, forgive me if I missed any of the other dwarves who are running for the presidency who are also establishment.

Just a thought - why is it that the net worth of almost all Congressmen and Senators increase dramatically after they are elected and go to Washington? Not all but most.
