Instagram sensation Dan Bilzerian received some bad news when he returned to his West Hollywood mansion after a September break-in â several of his guns were gone.
But it wasnât burglars who had taken the firearms, it was the Los Angeles Police Department.
For two months after the break-in, Mr. Bilzerian, a professional poker player and gun rights champion, says police inexplicably continued to keep the nine firearms under lock and key without a warrant. When the eight pistols and one rifle were returned to their owner about a week ago, all the ammunition for the firearms was missing, raising questions about the LAPDâs protocol for seizing firearms.
âAll of my ammunition and the magazines were gone. And they couldnât explain what happened to the magazines, but that ammo couldnât be released with a firearm and that Iâd have to schedule a separate three-hour visit for the ammo,â Mr. Bilzerian told The Washington Times. âIf they are gonna take the guns and make me wait for three hours at the police station, they should at the very least return what came with them.â
The break-in occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 5, a weekend when Mr. Bilzerian was out of town, according to the police report.
The perpetrators disabled security cameras outside the home before breaking a glass window to gain entry. Once inside, the intruders attempted to break into a closet where Mr. Bilzerian kept a collection of firearms, but the steel-reinforced room withstood their attempts.
Meanwhile an alarm for a security system to the house was triggered, summoning police. The burglars escaped before police arrived, but once on scene, the officers turned their attention to the firearms they believed were in the home.

Article starts off with false headlines.
No hollywood star can be pro 2nd amendment.
Unless you’re already big like Vince Vaughan.
He is the ONLY A LIST actor i know who speaks out loud about being pro 2nd amendment.
the others might have been a list once, but are older and b list now
“The perpetrators disabled security cameras outside the home before breaking a glass window to gain entry. Once inside, the intruders attempted to break into a closet where Mr. Bilzerian kept a collection of firearms, but the steel-reinforced room withstood their attempts. “
Are we sure the burglars WEREN’T the police to begin with?
If the thief could not get the closet open why did police look in the closet? Something no adding up here. If they did break into the closet they should pay damages and be filed on for burglary as well.
So it was grand theft, by the LAPD. I mean, that’s what is was. The LAPD are thieves now. We can no longer trust the police. They have become just like criminals. This is why we need firearms, because the governmental systems have become far too corrupt
He’s a professional poker player. I saw him on the show `Ridiculousness’.
Bilzerian likes guns.
Oh, almost forgot: IBTG
The worst thing is that the burglars were unable to enter the room but the police BROKE IN and took them!
Bilzerian is the MAN!
Multiple lessons:
Don’t store all of your eggs in one basket.
Revenge for Fascism.
Possible JBT ping.
LAPD would have riddled him with his own guns so they could keep 'em.
I don’t like the gun aspect but who qualifies as a star these days.

good!!
But i would love if more A list movie stars were pro 2nd amendment.
their voices SHOULDN’T matter, but they do.
actually, maybe they should. Wayne, Stewart, Mitchum and others contributed to the conservative conscience of the country and now idiots like clooney, pitt, damon, etc. are doing the opposite.
actually, pitt doesn’t say much so he can get a pass.
and his hot wife made that patriotic wwII movie about that American POW. she left out the most important part, his religious conversion, but put it in words at the end. And he got her to pray. Hey, it’s a start.
She’s also doing or starring in a WWII female prisoner of the japs movie.
is she patriotic or doesn’t like the Japanese? lol
Brad Pitt owns guns and isn’t shy about admitting it. I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily “pro 2A” - but he is about as big as stars get.
They may not be active about it, but there might be more than you think.
Bruce Willis—”Everyone has a right to bear arms. If you take guns away from legal gun owners, then the only people who have guns are the bad guys.” Even a pacifist, he insists, would get violent if someone were trying to kill her. “You would fight for your life. Youd use a rock or tear one of these chairs out of the floor.”
James Earl Jones (NRA member) “The world is filled with violence. Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also have guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose.”
Johnny Depp—”We would just go out and line up a bunch of cans and shoot with rifles, handguns and at times, submachine guns,” Depp admits. “When I was a kid it was a controlled atmosphere, we weren”t shooting at humans - we were shooting at cans and bottles mostly. I will most certainly take my kids out for target practice.”
Clint Eastwood (NRA member)—”I have a very strict gun control policy: if there’s a gun around, I want to be in control of it.”
Brad Pitt—”I absolutely dont believe you can put sanctions or shackles on what is made. Nor do I want to pretend the world is different than what we witnessed that night...America is a country founded on guns. It’s in our DNA. Its very strange but I feel better having a gun. I really do. I dont feel safe, I don’t feel the house is completely safe, if I dont have one hidden somewhere. That’s my thinking, right or wrong.”
Angelina Jolie—”I bought original, real guns of the type we used in Tomb Raider for security. Brad and I are not against having a gun in the house, and we do have one. And yes, I’d be able to use it if I had to - If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I’ve no problem shooting them.”

I know what your saying. Saw some anti-gun douchebag looking all hard the other day, pointing a pistol Weaver stance in a movie promo. Think it may have been Lilly Neeson.
Phony poser..
