LOL!! A perp would have started blasting away at that moment.
Don’t much like Olive Garden anyway; but I will be sure to avoid them from now on.
Just another reason to not like Olive Garden.
Haven’t eaten there in years, won’t eat there ever again.
This is all obuma’s doing...and the idiots that put him into office TWICE are the ones that are carrying his water...
I hope they love what they have stood behind, because obuma is the biggest piece of crap ever dropped into a toilet...
See - the restaurant *does* have the right to determine its own policies with this regard.
BUT.
That doesn’t mean the restaurant should be immune to retributive actions by protestors. This Olive Garden should feel the full weight of thousands of protestors surrounding it and generally making it a terrible, terrible place in which to dine, until it apologises, etc.
The time to just shuffle off while mumbling “well, that’s the owner’s business...” are over. The Left doesn’t play that way, and we need to stop doing so.
Fire her ass.
this is probably a case of an idiot being put in charge while there is no manager in the store taking it on his or her responsibility to kick out the police officer.
And how this different from refusing to make a gay cake?
Technically I was always on duty so I carry everywhere. Kind of like now with CHL. I do not know that I would have left on principle but I probably would have letting them know that myself and every one I told about this would be going elsewhere, like Carrabba’s (better anyway).
I just called em......
Really really stupid. Having the cop there adds to the diners’ safety.
This is from the insane leftist mind which sees all guns, even those in the hands of non-violent citizens and cops, as bad.
This is an easy thing to deal with. If you are a cop and have been refused service because of your duty firearm, simply get out your phone, start recording and ask the hostess to restate the establishment’s policy.
Then ask for a manager, when the manager arrives, ask the manager if it is the policy of the establishment to discriminate against law enforcement who are on duty and in uniform.
This ought to be a safe place to rob now.
Olive Garden. That’s like the Italian version of McDonalds.
Good: No special privileges for government employees.
Bad: Armed citizens make the place safer. Kicking them out is stupid.
Every time this happens everyone in the restaurant needs to get up and walk out, no matter if their meal is finished or not. Then crowd the entrance so no-one else gets in.
Might as well tell the bad guys that it is open season at the Olive Garden. The police will be there....in about an hour.
KC, MO, isn’t that what Harry S Truman called a “suburb of Independence.”
Leave the gun...take the cannoli.
Law enforcement are always welcome to dine (with) us we heart serving them and have great relationships, an Olive Garden spokesman said.
