Once hailed as the likely Republican nominee, Jeb Bush’s support has been sliced in half from July to September and now stands at 7% as a variety of potential voters turned to other candidates, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

Mr. Bush lost support across the board: among men and women, voters under and over 50 years of age, talk-radio listeners, and values and tea-party voters alike. Though his support flagged among likely voters who identified as very conservative and total conservatives, Mr. Bush lost the most ground – a 15-point decline — among self-described moderate and liberals, earning 8% from those voters in September compared with 23% in July.

Jeb Bush has the angriest eyes of any of the candidates. His mother’s eyes. He’s really pissed off at somebody.
He NEVER had my support.

I cannot believe the lackluster campaign that Jeb is running. McCain and Romney were like a political thrill ride compared to this guy.
That huge bloc of Hispanic voters would really come in handy about now, Jeb...show ‘em if you got ‘em.

I like George W Bush too. He took care of our military and didn’t treat us like second class citizens like Obama does.
Jeb said he was not going to run when he was asked about it years ago. He should have listened to his mother and not run. Trump stopped this show and sidelined him...thank God.

I am no fan of Jeb but with only 230 republicans surveyed this poll is worthless IMO.

I didn’t think about her much one way or the other until I learned that she supports abortion (as does Barbara Bush).
Laura and Barbara aren’t politicians and I don’t view people through a tunnel vision lens. As a good friend of mine, and a rabid 2nd Amendment supporter has said, “There is room in any debate for reasonable people to reasonably disagree”.
The key words here are “reasonable people”.
