Announce to Banks that President Cruz will prosecute any bank and banker who violates the Corker law requiring 0bama to submit all side deals to Congress for approval before releasing any of the $100,000,000,000 for terrorists.

I remember that ad well.
Scared me into voting for Johnson over Goldwater in my first voting election.
Realized in the time after that I had been snookered.
My last vote for a dim for president.

I say we need to get that ad back on the air in the context of the Iran deal. The liberals would sh*t a brick over it. Their heads would explode.

Party politics above the nation - BOTH PARTIES. Need to start another REVOLUTION. As Levin says over and over the District of Corruption is not about to start fixing itself. If there are not enough states for a convention of the states “WE THE PEOPLE” will have to take things into our own hands.

Tell me about it, I’m keep hearing from people who say they hate Trump because he insults people and all I tell them is GOOD because these idiots NEED to be insulted! They’ve been insulting the American public every single day for the past 7 years and beyond. Washington and the media punks who shill for them need to be fumigated, cleared out and GONE. People paying taxes through the nose and THIS is what we get for our money? Obama and a Congress that does NOTHING about him? A media that is nothing but a propaganda dept for Obama? F them all! Insult the hell out of them, they are beyond contempt. Thank GOD for Trump!

1. A treaty entails a majority of the Senate to approve. Since there has not been revealed yet the full verbiage, this treaty is not a treaty.

A treaty requires 2/3 of the Senate to ratify. Obama's Iran deal is not a treaty. It's an executive agreement. It should have been a treaty but Obama is audacious and pursued it outside the treaty framework and the Senate capitulated. The Corker bill was an attempt to salvage some degree of legislative branch review but of course has turned out to be a joke. The Corker bill does not attempt to frame the deal as a treaty.

2. The Dems under Reid threw the filibuster under the bus so they could get their way. As soon as the GOP came to power, it gave the filibuster back so the Dems could block oh so many things.

Reid didn't throw all filibusters under the bus, only filibusters to block executive branch nominations like federal judges. That particular aspect of the filibuster doesn't apply here.

This is representation!?

I’ll tell you about the representation we get. Today we received from OUR “representative” in Congress a government publication instructing us what to do in case of an extreme emergency.

It starts out “BE READY”, and proceeds to tell us to go to www.ready.gov/make-a-plan, and then goes on describing how at the site they provide detailed, and specific plans to (then they list every category of citizen) prepare, plan, and stay informed about emergencies. .

Curious had they done their job why such a preparedness brochure is such a necessary cost to distribute to the citizens of this once free, and secure Nation.

I am certain this just happens to be poor timing on the part of the Congressman, but to arrive on the day of the staged win for Obama’s nuclear capitulation is very poor timing.

Are you saying even Ted Cruz, Jeff Sessions, and Mike Lee voted for the Corker bill?

Art. II, Sec. 2 of the Constitution provides that the President “shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur ....” I don’t see anything that mandates a procedure for submitting it to the Senate.

Why can’t a Senator submit it as a treaty for ratification? I know that is not how it has been done in the past, but nothing Obama is doing is how it has been done.

.
Sorry, but the “deal” needs an approval to survive.

That fact is not going away.

Reid didn't throw all filibusters under the bus, only filibusters to block executive branch nominations like federal judges. That particular aspect of the filibuster doesn't apply here.

Reid abolished the filibusters that he wanted to abolish. There was no point in him abolishing legislative filibusters since the Republicans controlled the House and no legislation that Reid pushed through the Senate would have ever made it to the floor of the House for a vote. If Pelosi had still been in control of the House then there is no question that Reid would have abolished legislative filibusters as well.

It can be argued that there is no point in the Republicans abolishing legislative filibusters since Obama can veto anything that is passed; however, what the Democrats did when they had control should in no way limit what the Republicans do now that they have control. It was called the nuclear option for a reason. The Democrats dropped the first nuke and cannot complain if the Republicans retaliate by nuking them out of existence.

If we elect a Republican President in 2016 and the Republicans hold onto the House (almost certain) and the Senate (an uphill fight) then the first thing the Senate should do is invoke the Reid Rule and abolish all filibusters. Let the Democrats and the lamestream media scream bloody murder. Elections have consequences.

I hope Sheldon Adelson and some other VERY DEEP POCKETED men begin immediately to smother the advertising airwaves and internet and billboards with the truth that the Democrat party just approved $150,000,000,000 for the #1 sponsor of global terrorism.

And they did it on the cusp of the anniversary of 9/11!

Many years ago, I might have been rendered speechless by the duplicity, cowardice, and rank evil seen in congress. But I’ve had decades to become acclimated to their wretched ways, so it’s not so difficult.

The republican and democratic scum in congress have outdone themselves with this agreement. Its rare that their thievery, duplicity, treason, and genocidal inclinations come together in one action. So for that, I offer them a standing ovation of Bronx applause.
