Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt said Friday that Donald Trump’s dismissal of him as a “third-rate radio announcer” won’t affect his plans for the Sept. 16 Republican debate on CNN.
“His critique won't change my debate questions or prep,” Hewitt told The Huffington Post.
The Trump-Hewitt spat offers another subplot for the much-anticipated debate and comes on the heels of the real estate developer’s quarrel with the previous debate’s co-moderator, Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

If I were Trump, I would show a little muscle and say that ihe was treated unfairly by Hewitt,and he would not be at the debate. Poof!....there goes CNN ‘s 24 million viewers. They don’t need Hewitt as much as they need Trump so guess who would have to go? That would make quite an impression on the media, which mistakenly thinks it’s all about them.
He's already shown his hand by asking Trump silly, list questions about semi-obscure international characters.
Maybe he'll read a few passages from the book about his previous favorite: A Morman in the White House. He is far from an objective participant in presidential politics.

I will be watching to see how many of the Terrorists either die or are “retired” in the next 16 months, Trump is right it doesn’t seem to matter since he wants them all dead anyway.
HH in a recent program was anti Trump, he should recuse himself as a debate moderator. I don’t like biased moderators in a position to “Me Gyn Crowley” the debate and then all we talk about is the F-ing slimy questions.
How come they don’t ask Jebba the Hut why his wife is here 27 years and doesn’t speak English at home?
HH is arogant and his bias should disqualify him or Trump should just refuse to show up if he is moderator of the debate. These debates don’t work with Gotcha questions or biased questioners and questions.
Whether Hewitt was right or wrong is not the point. We have a president who calls people names whenever he gets into a corner. Do we want another one?

Trump has responded only after he has been attacked, defending himself. Bimbo Kelly alleged Trump was a rapist, and it was Crazy Rosie who attacked Trump first.

What he should say is, “since it is so important that CNN has to ask what I remember, maybe Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race since she came right out and said she didn’t remember things that happened in Benghazi. And she was the Secretary of State and that was her job.”
The next “gotcha” question asked should be replied with, “you are a multibillion dollar network with the best and the brightest journalistic minds and in the most important election in the history of this country, you are asking me a stupid question? That’s ALL you can come up with?”
Then leave.
