Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump compared the Planned Parenthood abortion business to an automobile dealership today, saying it is an “abortion factory” that sells the body parts of aborted babies like a dealership sells cars. The comments follow an 8th video showing how Planned Parenthood sells aborted babies and their body parts.
Trump made the comments on the Laura Ingraham show, according to a Daily Caller report:
Laura Ingraham: Yesterday, Planned Parenthood was exposed again in an eighth video released by the Center for Medical Progress. Do you still believe there are two Planned Parenthoods or is it time to defund this organization?
Donald Trump: Well, you should defund anyway because they are doing the abortions. It is like an abortion factory, which is terrible. So you should defund anyway. But those videos are horrible. Every time you see them, they get worse and worse. And it’s not only that, the messengers are so bad. There always, I mean these people, what they say and the way they, it’s like you are selling parts to an automobile or something. It’s a terrible situation going on with Planned Parenthood. There’s no question about it. This is the second time in recent weeks that Trump has called Planned Parenthood an abortion factory.
In an interview with CNN two weeks ago, Trump called the abortion giant an “abortion factory” and said government shouldn’t be funding it.
“The problem that I have with Planned Parenthood is the abortion situation. It is like an abortion factory, frankly,” Trump said. “And you can’t have it. And you just shouldn’t be funding it. That should not be funded by the government, and I feel strongly about that.”

In July, in an interview, Trump told Dana Loesch that Planned Parenthood should be defunded in light of the recent videos showing their top executives negotiating the sale of aborted babies’ body parts.
Trump said, “It’s disgusting. And absolutely they should be defunded. I thought it was so cavalier, so horrible.”
In the past, Trump has shared that he is pro-life on abortion. For example, in January he said, “I’m pro-life and I have been pro-life. It’s an issue and a strong issue.” However, Trump admits that at one time he wasn’t against abortion but changed his mind after developing relationships with close friends who have children.

In an interview with the Des Moines Register newspaper, he explained, “If you look at it, I said, ‘It really, really troubles me, and it really, really bothers me, the whole concept of abortion.’ This was years ago, and even then it really bothered me, but I went on the other side of the line,” Trump said. “But in thinking about it over the years, I’ve had instances, and one instance in particular, a friend had a child who they were going to abort, and now they have it, and the child is incredible. And the man, he changed his views also because of that.”
“As I’ve grown older, as I’ve seen things happen in life, I’ve changed my views — and others have also,” he said.

Last week he said it was a small part of what PP does, which is mostly good.

It was a matter of time before he realized what PP truly is. He gave them the benefit of the doubt....and, now, thankfully, knows the ugly truth.

I think he was brilliant using their own words against them. After all, if abortion is only 3% of what they do, then quitting the abortion business to retain their federal funding would be a no-brainer.
It seems like his positions change every day, in an effort to pander to the GOP base. But that couldn't be, since I've been repeatedly told that he just tells it like it is, not like typical politicians who sway in the wind and alter their positions for political reasons.

He originally said to defund PP. Then he tried to give them the benefit of the doubt on possible good things they might do for women’s health. He then watched these videos, along with the rest of the country, and is calling them wha they are...an abortion factory.

I have asked this question several times:
Has anyone followed the money? Who gets paid for the fetal parts and tissue? Is it paid to Planned Parenthood and carried on their books? Or, is it a side deal paid to the local “teams” consisting of the abortion team?
That’s a great question. If we had a Congress worth their salt, we might could follow the PP $$, via an investigation. ALL funding should be halted, pending the outcome of said investigation.
Selling human body parts, and dissecting living humans for organs is against the law.

Yes. They do. Sometimes multiple times in one day. Heck, sometimes multiple times in one interview. My favorite example of that was a couple of days ago, when he said he liked the idea of a flat tax; then, in the very next sentence said that the problem with the flat tax was that the rich pay the same as everyone else, and that there should be some “graduation” in the rate. Which, y’know, is kind of the exact opposite of a flat tax.
My guy is Cruz. Who has led the charge to defund PP, and has called them “barbaric,” as well as numerous other choice words.

Good question. I think in the macro sense we can rest assured that the political class is profiting directly or indirectly from the continuation of the practice. Hence its continuation for 40 plus years.
In order to see who is specifically profiting on the ground, there would need to be an audit of the books. Which of course will never happen given the political class profits.
And that’s one reason why I don’t think there is a political solution for infanticide. The political class isn’t going to give up a cash cow.
