Last week he said it was a small part of what PP does, which is mostly good.

Right. I should’ve pinged you. He’s obviously watched the videos.

It was a matter of time before he realized what PP truly is. He gave them the benefit of the doubt....and, now, thankfully, knows the ugly truth.

Oh for pete’s sake Nick - there you go again. I’m not even going to bother to try and explain this to you - you have such a brick between your ears.

He was just repeating what PP claims, that only 3% of what they do is abortions, if you count things like handing out pamphlets by each individual pamphlet.

Abortions are 51% of their revenue however.

I think he was brilliant using their own words against them. After all, if abortion is only 3% of what they do, then quitting the abortion business to retain their federal funding would be a no-brainer.

It seems like his positions change every day, in an effort to pander to the GOP base. But that couldn't be, since I've been repeatedly told that he just tells it like it is, not like typical politicians who sway in the wind and alter their positions for political reasons.

Well for once in your online existence you are correct. Trump said at least the abortion part of PP should be defunded but leave the rest alone. Now that he has had a chance to see what a real nightmare it is he has decided it should be totally defunded.

Now compare that to Boehner and McConnell who plan to fund Planned Parenthood en toto. That means fund all of it.

So save your anger for Mitch and Johnny.

Trump, in the candidates forum that Frank Luntz hosted, said he was a Presbyterian and that he “loved his church” and that he attended the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. First Presbyterian is a PCUSA congregation, the most liberal branch of the Presbyterian Church in the US, a financial backer of Planned Parenthood.

Presbyterians Affirming Reproductive Options is one of the official organizations within the PCUSA. It contributes PCUSA members’ money directly to the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a pro-abortion group. The PCUSA also backs to the hilt Obamacare; global warming; a left- wing social justice agenda; and, among other leftist causes, the condemnation of Israel as an “oppressor” nation.

Every dime Trump contributes to First Presbyterian goes to support these causes including Planned Parenthood’s butchery. I know this firsthand because my Presbyterian church researched the PCUSA and voted last year to leave over these and other issues. We’re now a congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church which left the extremely liberal denomination in the 1980s.

I suggest that if Mr. Trump wants to convince me and other Freepers who abhor Planned Parenthood and the leftist agenda that he’s really a conservative, he can start by leaving First Presbyterian. Otherwise, he’s a phony as far as I’m concerned.

He has all the right enemies - they all use leftist tactics and hope others pay for their rights.
