New York City’s mayor Bill de Blasio has come under fire after he was accused of giving an unadvertised job to his aide’s girlfriend with a reported salary of $150,000 a year.
Appointed as ‘campaign director’ for de Blasio’s Office of Immigrant Affairs in May, Stephanie Yazgi’s salary will initially be paid for by the taxpayers until it is covered by a delayed private grant.
The 38-year-old is the partner of one of the mayor’s most trusted aides, Emma Wolfe.
The startling findings were revealed by the New York Post, who were told by one Democrat insider that it was ‘just a made up position.’

What's so startling? Every city government has a contingent of high-paying positions "filled" by sex-partners, brothers-in-law, or baby-mamas of high-placed figures.

de Blasio is a huge proponent of "income equality". So I'm guessing everyone in the mayor's office makes $150,000 a year, including the custodians, the landscapers, security, etc. Sweet!

Using political power to provide jobs for one’s relatives or supporters has been going on since the emergence of politics.

Democrats need government jobs, that what they do and who they are unless they have some arts and crafts skill. The main purpose of a Democrat politician is to provide jobs for all of the other Democrat parasites and to support them in a comfortable lifestyle through frequent tax hikes.
This has been the business model since the days of Tammany Hall.
Why some people go into politics, and why politics is so corrupt. They give away free jobs to friends and associates. This should be punishable by jail.
Will folks ever wise up to the realization that tyrants and tyrant wannabes are, at their core, just thieves?
