The internals finding that 6 in 10 would not vote for him, most Republicans don’t consider him to represent the party’s core values (although he is very strong on dealing with border security), and with 3 in 10 Republicans saying they would not vote for him is quite telling.

Mygosh, how does their pretty boy Jeb rate on the "reflect our values" question?

Can someone explain or list the Republican Party's core values for me? So far, I haven't been able to determine if it has any.
Certainly, most or the elected officials who claim to be Republicans don't exhibit any, at all.

Looks to me like we’re willing to get behind a single CORE value, as long as it accurately represents us for a change.

Another earlier poll showed substantial improvement in the number who would consider Trump someone they could vote for. I expect if he continues to gain support, he will be viewed by more and more as someone they could support.

Only the final day of polling came after reporting of his comments on McCain’s military background. His numbers for that day were significantly lower.

I am still in Trump’s camp. What I like is he is NOT a career politician. I could settle for Cruz but I have learned to distrust career politicians.

Well shoot. I was hoping the elections wouldn't be over this soon.
Can we just skip all this absentee ballots, waiting in line to make our pick and counting ballots stuff and just hope a pollster calls the 2nd Tue. in Nov. so we can tell them who we like.

The Sunday sampling, after the Washington Post smear went viral, simply wrecked him. The next poll won’t be pretty.

Trump is smashing the establishment anointed candidates. This is good. He is also making the media pajamaboys cry like little girly girls.
the media is tryng to analogize to ross perot but ross perot was never serious other than being a spoiler. Perot just did not want bush to win period.
Trump is playing smart by not kow towing to the effetes.

When you are the party largely of corporate lobbyists, you don’t need any.
