Certainly, most or the elected officials who claim to be Republicans don't exhibit any, at all.

Au contraire! The GOP DOES have A core value: “PRETEND like we have conservative values UNTIL we get elected and THEN sell out to the highest bidders”. Of course, that’s an unwritten core value, but it’s nonetheless quite real.

The Republican party’s core values appear to be fascism as a means to return to feudalism. Secondary values are the same as the Democrats.
