Fox News Just Made an Announcement About Bob Beckel That Changes Their Relationship Forever
ijreview ^ | June 25,2015 | BY MICHAEL HAUSAM

Fox News, which is said to have supported Beckel for years as he dealt with multiple addiction issues, has released a statement on the liberal host’s departure. According to Bill Shine, Executive Director of Programming, in a statement emailed to IJReview:

“We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold The Five hostage to one man’s personal issues. He took tremendous advantage of our generosity, empathy and goodwill and we simply came to the end of the road with him. Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera will be among those rotating on the show for the near future.”

With Beckel’s departure, the search begins for a full-time replacement.

"Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera will be among those rotating"

Bob is worth ten of those two put together any time. I can only believe that he was 'typical Bob' during a personell interview and pissed of the HR jobsworth. His role in The Five was to entertain us - and he did that in outrageous form. I will miss him and watch The Five much less in future.

He must have never served in the military.

One day I heard him on the radio implying that HW’s rescue was staged, as Beckel said, he thought that a submarine wouldn’t have someone on board to take photographs.

The good news,Bechoes is history.

The BAD news, we have to listen to the infinitely worse Whoraldo and Wan Williams.

FOX is becoming increasingly insufferable.

Yet, not only does this hard left POS, Marc Lamont Hill, remain, he's never once been confronted by anyone on the network on these things below.

The Extreme Makeover of Fox News: Analyst Marc Lamont Hill
Accuracy In Media - AIM Column ^ | October 2, 2009 | Cliff Kincaid

Who would plaster his Twitter page with police mug shot photos of convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur? Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill did. At least until David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media took notice and wrote about it. Now the page features photos of boxing great Muhammad Ali. Hill's MySpace page is also gone.

There are other changes as well. The tributes to Shakur and black racist Khallid Muhammad, known as "America's Black Hitler," have disappeared from his web pages. The articles were saved, however, and can be found here.

Why is in incumbent on Fox to have a token clueless liberal idiot in the mix.

Punching bag for the other panelists?

I hate to say this but between Juan Williams, Geraldo, or Beckel, Beckel is the least annoying in any media venue. Given the choice of the three if I were forced at gun point to have to hear one of them {I don’t watch Fox News or any network news} I’d pick Beckel.

At least he knew when to shut up, unlike Juan. Please, Fox, dump the abrasive, loudmouth Juan.

That’s true. Bob would say his thing and shut up. Juan and Jerry have delusions of self relevance.

Only redeeming quality of that show is Guillfoil and Tantaros. (Yummm!) I cannot bear Geraldo.

Pretty nasty dismissal from Fox. I never see media people fired with this kind of language.

Were you hoping for the Brian Williams treatment?

Beckel was more bearable than either Geraldo or Moron Williams.

Juan has delusions of intelligence. What an empty suit, and at a million dollars per year! Being fired from NPR was the best thing that ever happened to him.

They’ve ruined The Five. I liked that program. Now, not so much. I even liked Beckel, even tho he was the left’s rep. He was usually jovial and amusing. He meshed well with the group.

Juan Williams and Geraldo are just plain boring. They are so predictable with their constant and instant outrage. There is no humor to be found in them. I don’t like them. I like nothing about them.

I am very disappointed. The entire group dynamic has been changed.

A distinctly and unnecessarily low-class sort of statement. Fox makes itself look cheap. Also, the announced replacements are mostly viewed as socialist propaganda shills rather then newsmen. Fox hiring like this destroys its remaining credibility

Loved his brother in Atlas Shrugged part 1.

Yep.

Bob's brother, actor Graham, is a conservative.

Go figure.

Agree completely.

Bob was a guy that the group could tease and they all seemed to actually like each other.

I’m sure they spent many hours together, off camera and developed friendships that were meaningful.

Maybe that’s what sent Bob back to drinking, A bunch of so-called conservatives that were decent honest caring people. Didn’t fit in with what he expected ?
