Read your Bible. God has not given up on His chosen people.... the seed of Abraham, nor will He ever. Yes, this IS the time of the Gentile, we Christians who have been "born again" have now inherited the "seed of Abraham" and thus are now part of God's covenant. And the eyes of the non-repentant Jews are temporarily shut to the truth. They are still awaiting fulfillment of their prophesies of the coming Messiah. And we are told by our Lord to pray for them.
Revelation 7:2-4 .........

You spoke of the "Jewish religion". That Jewish religion has always been foretelling of, always been a picture of, Jesus Christ. The Old Testiment is so much more than just a history of the Jews. It is a beautiful and accurate "picture" of Christ.
I didn’t say that God’s election of the Jews came to an end. But the RELIGION—the system of obligations and ritual designed by God to foretell Christ and form a people capable of recognizing him—did come to an end. The tearing of the veil of the temple immediately after Jesus’ death represents this fact.
So we know that chrstianity superseded Judaism because chrstianity teaches that it superseded Judaism. Do we know mormonism is true because mormonism teaches that it is true?
And what makes you say that the purpose of Judaism was to "foretell chr*st?" Do you also "prove" that by invoking the teaching of chrstianity?
Let me know if you ever find in the Torah where Judaism was created to "fortell chr*st!"

Restricting our beliefs to what is told in the original Bible with the original text (only twenty-four books, no “New Testament”) and Oral Law, we think differently—no loose analogies with metaphors or allegories. It’s a concrete and certain way of thought that is absolutely monotheistic. There are no contradictions or doubts. There are no types or shadows. On the existence and regrowth of Judaism, the truth of that matter is told by many of the Prophets, Isaiah through Malachi.
ZC, I’ll also take this opportunity to be a bit of a troublemaker again. Where the English translations say “Son of Man” in reference to a prophet, the Hebrew says what would be more directly translated as “Son of Adam.”
As almost always, the Pope opens mouth, inserts foot, and reveals himself as shallow, thoughtless, incoherent, and ignorant.
There’s an essay, written by a man from Buenos Aires, about Bergoglio as Archbishop, predicting how he will behave as Pope: He will say anything to any audience to get applause. He will deliver a pious, traddy ferverino to the Latin-Mass crowd in the morning, and a rip-roaring feminist speech to a bunch of pro-abortion lesbians in the afternoon. If they applaud, he considers himself a success. He is not interested in the thoughts of those who disagree, and he exiles them, if he has the authority, so he never has to listen.
