OK, I’ll bite.
I am struck by your use of the word “begat.” Its use leads one into thinking, incorrectly, that Christianity was something new and, most importantly, different than the faith of Israel, the faith of Abraham. Other than the fact of the incarnation of the Son of God, which was no more and certainly no less than the fulfillment of prophecy, what exactly is the difference between Christianity and the faith of Abraham? Please explain.
As a corollary question, in what sense is Christianity a “movement?” Is it not just a continuation of the faith of Abraham?

At one time, the Christians were known as “Nazarenes” after what was spoken (not written) of by the prophets of Jesus, per Matthew 2:23. The term is used in a derisive manner by Tertullus in Acts 24:5 to describe Christians.

I dunno, got mixed feelings. I would like to think the grand kids could grow up, etc. but there is something appealing about being the “generation that doesn’t die”. Things getting crazier by the HOUR nowadays whereas they were just getting crazier by the day a few weeks ago. Sounds a lot like “quickening”. In my training I have delivered 75 babies. You get to where you recognize quickening. You also recognize that if it ain’t there it ain’t happening. An old guy told me the most valuable tool in OB is the cigar. Go have one. In all but a few cases patience is all that is required, a gentle hand at the right moment, and a new life begins. This wretched world is just crying out for new life. IMHO.

I am searching in vain for any speech, sermon, or article by this Pope opposing the Argentine invasion of the Falklands.
Maybe they don’t have any pictures in the Vatican hallways from the 1940’s when Nazis and Fascists surrounded the Vatican, or later when Communists were threatening the Free World, but were wiped out by those weapons or threat thereof.
As Catholics growing up in the 50’s and 60’s we prayed daily in parochial schools for “the conversion of Russia”.
This Pope seems to be praying for the conversion of America to the Marxist liberation theologies he seems to welcome into the Church.
Popes are only infallible when it come to teaching of faith and morals wherein Jesus Christ will provide guidance.
