A few years ago, I heard about a murderer whose execution was postponed because he was sick. “Cosas veredes, Sancho.”
It’s cold, the body would keep for a few days.
What has the storm to do with anything? Unless the witnesses could not get there.

Good question. I assumed weather but based on the following I suspect something
else. The weather will be nasty in that area but not even below freezing tonight as I
read the local forecast.

Scheduling issues is more likely the reason for delay. What that
entails I have no idea.

It’s interesting that Ray Routh committed a double-murder, this woman’s act is heinous and unforgivable. Her husband seemed to be a kind man, I read up on the case. Routh gets life imprisonment and people have told me he will get his just deserts in prison while this woman will be executed.
Execution delayed per snow-storm. Very odd. Her execution was delayed once already, in January.
I went through the list of the 59 women on death row that accompanied the article. 13 were black, with one of those having been released recently after a 27-year wait. Most were white, hispanics came in second, and one was Asian. Nearly all were ugly.
Doesn’t look too racist to me.
If I knew the libs were giving away chicken wings my lily-white self would be out there chanting “Down with honkies!” Between bites, of course.
If that beating with the ugly stick didn’t kill her I don’t see how lethal injection will.
Witnesses and the other personnel, I’m guessing. I understand the reasoning, but it does create a bizarre situation.

Maybe the political types are queasy about the look of the thing for executing a woman. *shrug* I save my sympathy for the victims.
She can damn sure make it to the buffet.
