Did NYC's fine mayor teach his bi-racial children that the law only applies to them, so it's unfair? That police should be enforcing tax law, not criminal activity, the kind that puts people in danger?
NYC is truly lost with this fool as mayor. Wise people will avoid it, even more than most did before.

I was mistaken for a wanted kidnapping/murder suspect once. It was intense but de-escelated quickly.
I was backing out of a parking space and suddenly had a gun in my face and a cop screaming at me to stop the car. I complied and and asked to put the car in park and shut off the ignition which I did carefully with my left arm out the window. I ended up in cuffs face down in the parking lot till things got sorted out. I was on my way home in under 20 minutes.
He's been in for nearly a year now. Honestly, I thought that the city's decline would be much faster with this Bozo.
Every parent should teach their child how to behave around a policeman.

"He has a security detail of New York City police officers assigned to protect his family. And yet he's making statements that his son shouldn't feel safe with New York City cops," Mullins said on John Catsimatidis' radio show on AM970. "Ultimately, if this individual who's in charge of running this city doesn't have faith in his own son being protected by the NYPD, he may want to think about moving out of New York City completely. He just doesn't belong here," he added. De Blasio has also been criticized by Patrick Lynch, head of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, the city's largest police union, who accused the mayor of throwing police "under the bus" by telling his son to be wary of police officers. NYC Police Commissioner Bill Bratton further added that many police officers feel that they are "under assault" in America as a result of the protests that have swept the nation. "Policing at the moment is under attack, it really is," Bratton said.De Blasio (that's his name for the time being) should have been removed from office over that corrupt fiasco over the horse-drawns in Central Park. And he and his freakshow 'family' doesn't belong in the public eye, or anywhere else.

The middle class moved out long ago (for the most part). Dad moved us out in 1964 as it was becoming a sewer The very rich and very poor live there. Others commute. It is a full time job putting an end to the corruption. It has gotten much worse since I moved out at age 15.
I would never consider attempting to fix that place. For the past few years I thought it possible to fix the state. But alas the corruption is too great for that to. I will leave asap but as this is a family matter if could take a few years

In cases like this, if the actual culprit being sought is caught, that person even if nobody else should be held culpable for experiences such as yours.
I’m a white person of color. I’ve already had an officer approach me with his hand on his gun. If I had stepped out of my car, faced the officer, and then reached into my coat, some bad things might have happened. I did not step out of my car or make a sudden move reaching inside my clothing. I’m still breathing.
