Sodomy good.

Tobacco bad.

Liberalism really is a mental disease, and a serious one at that.

It’s evil. But prohibition won’t work, as the addicts will ignore the ban. Their addiction is too strong. Tax it.

And liberals are all in favor of legalizing marijuana.

Where is the consistency? Smoking tobacco is bad, but smoking marijuana is good??? What the heck???

consistency?

leftism is all about hate. They will protest “against war” when Bush is president but not when a Dem is President, because it is Bush they hated not the war.

It is pretty much like that on every issue.

Well the nanny state doo gooders that are all for murdering cannabis users in their sleep don't seem to care about all the tax money spent on deadly and crippling diseases caused by tobacco and alcohol!

As long as you don't enjoy it without deadly consequences seems to be their mission statement.

Can I ask a stupid question?

Can you ban the sale of a legal product?

I understand that sales of certain items can be restricted. Examples are alcohol, cigarettes, and pornography may not be sold to minors, as examples.

But can a town just ban a legally available product? I question under what controlling legal authority they seek to do this.

Disclaimer first, I no longer use tobacco products and rarely consume alcohol.

They are both legal products and are taxed but I believe if they make tobacco illegal but allow alcohol sales they are being less than consistent.

This will be great news for the Mafia and the Native American tribes of Massachusetts! If more cities follow suit there’ll be Indian smoke shops all over the state and some folks will be buying their Marlboros off the back of trucks a la “Goodfella’s.”
